I have to keep remembering that you lot over the pond call your gardens a yard. Over here a yard is industrial or commercial premises like a builders yard, or a railway yard. Historically it could also be a cobblestoned area for tradesmen to deliver goods to the rear entrances of houses bordering it. Not quite true Chris, I have a lot of room to move around here. I have a woods and behind the a have a large park and a river. so we are not are on a tarmac in this town. Mountains that would thrill you and veiws that are breath taking. Deer and any other kind come up and drink out of the spring. But Chris those damb crows in the morning drive me nuts, count on 4:30 AM as a wake up call. No we have tons of room here, this is not all city lots. I can fish till the cows come home and if samond keep runnig and bass too. :) |

Historically it could also be a cobblestoned area for tradesmen to deliver goods to the rear entrances of houses bordering it. In my little country village here we also have rear laneways so we can drive in either end of the property but sadly they're just compacted dirt and grass (plus weeds), not cobblestones (that would cut down a lot of dust). Cheers. |

Beer o'clock in 8 hours... Yeah that part could describe some of the women that I've been seen with, but then again it could just describe me as well. :-) BTW I just left the pub so Beer O'clock is over until tomorrow. Cheers. |

I was perusing the beer shelf in my local supermarket when I spied these, Badger Poachers Choice beer. Not seen them before. So bought a couple to try. 5.7%ABV |

Men...;) Sorry Julie, but it's hard to forget 1's biology profile. It's almost 1am Saturday here so I'd better get my whipped backside to bed before I get into more trouble. Cheers. |

I was perusing the beer shelf in my local supermarket when I spied these, Ah yes Badgers beer has and both my local supermarket and off licence stock several of the different varieties, just not this one. I will imbibe later and report my thoughts. |
