It will be a while till beer o'clock. After work I go swimming with the kids and my sister-in-law. Weekend starts in 4 hours though, woohoo!

I hope you have a lot of fun, I haven't been swimming in years.

Long time I've swum my weekly 50 tracks as well...

I think I will cut back the computer this weekend, we have a very hot weekend, Tues 115 F let alone the other days. :( never seen it this hot here.

I feed my computer beer by sitting next to it and drinking.

Well it got out right hot today so there goes my RAC but I'm not killing my computer for no one. :)) Prime rib and a cold beer was the answer out. :))

Beer O'clock is over here now, but it's almost dinner time so Rum O'clock won't be far after that.

Tomorrow morning I'll be bottling another 6 dozen longnecks of lager so I hope that there will be another frost so things in the brewroom don't get to warm while I'm working away.

Cheers.

Here you drink as much or as little as you want.

2-4 beers for me at lunch aids digestion (2-3 rums before bed aids sleep). ;)

Cheers

Well, now that that is settled I'll head off into my brewroom and start bottling.

Another 2wks and I'll be fully stocked with lager again (all 38doz).

Cheers.

I make that..... er, um, hang on a mo, where's me abacus thingy, nope can't find it, never mind there is my Sinclair Cambridge. Right, tap tap, that's 456 pints!

Nope, you can't scoff that lot on your own, no way! I therefore declare that it is beer o'clock at Wiggo's in a fortnight. You're all invited :-))

You may want to leave that for 2mths as the brews do need to age first (only 13doz are ready to drink ATM). ;-)

Hurry up and boil water so I can get started.

Cheers.

Well that's my sauna for the week done, now I just have to wait for the bottles to cool down a bit before rinsing and priming them for filling.

So Beer O'clock today will be a little late again today, but the wait will be worth it.

Cheers.

So, I read all this stuff about how if I drink X beers less per day I will live Y years longer. I'm not clear, Y years longer without beer: is that a reward or a punishment?

I can say one thing is the coldest winter I ever spent was in the winter of 1976 in up state New york. I froze my butt off big time, beer was easy to keep cold. :)) 26 f below zero with 65 mph winds and it seemed forever. I left as soon as I could and never been back.
