Beer O'clock maybe a little late today as I've 54L of lager to bottle first. I picked a very good day to do this as it's wet and very cold outside. Cheers. |

Several of the venues I frequent for food and music have lately been featuring Beck's Sapphire. Now I usually prefer red or brown ales to lagers, but this was a decent beer. Any thoughts on Beck's Sapphire? Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

I have seen their beer here but I've never tried it. I have made a few "old beers" (brown/dark brown ales) but they tend to sit to heavy in my belly after a few. ;-) But I'm happy with a pale lager that has a bit of kick to it myself. Cheers. |

Any thoughts on Beck's Sapphire? I have drank Beck's many times in the past but Beck's sapphire I don't think I have seen it, I will look for it and give it a spin. |

I have seen their beer here but I've never tried it. With that much beer your going to have many happy friends. :)) I have to go buy mine, they won't let me make any here. I can't even smoke here if I did and I don't. Have fun , Cheers |

Actually with other stuff going on around here the last few months my brewroom has been neglected badly and it'll take me another 3-4wks to get fully stocked again. Cheers. |

How long does it take to brew up a batch? I know very little about it, all I know is how to do, is snap a cap. :)) and grind on AP WU's all day and I can do that very well. :)) |

About a week of brewing before bottling and let sit for at least 2 months before drinking (I prefer to wait 6 months before drinking as it ages the beer more). Cheers. |

Well if I had to wait 6 months for one I could get plenty dry and have to go to the local pub for something wet. :)) You must make up one hell of a batch of beer to hold you down. I can clean up and 36 cans in short order not counting on the other stuff too. :)) Cheers. Cheers everybody Life is short so don't sip Beer speaks, people mumble |

That's why I have 38 dozen longnecks (750ml) here to rotate my lager on and another 13 dozen for my alcoholic ginger beer. They can get up to a 1yr old by the time I get around to drinking them but being slack lately has brought that down to 7mths old atm (sounds a bit like my RAC presently lol). Cheers. |

and another 13 dozen for my alcoholic ginger beer. I never thought of it that way but might be, I like ginger beer myself, years ago we had one that was sooo good but had no alocohol in it. ;( And then I had some that were totally gross. I could use one right now to wash down all these AP WU's that I'm chewing on. :)) |
