Well Monday being a holaday I guess mine will be in the hospital getting glass out of my foot. ;O

You're supposed to drink it, not tread on it!

No Chris a shard of glass somehow got in my shoe and now it's mine.

It's miserably wet outside so it's good that I'm spending the day in my brewroom getting my stock of rum built back up so Beer O'clock will be early today.

Next week I'll start building my Lager supplies back up.

Cheers.

You know I never tried a hand in making beer, if I had the room I'd might try it. Now I just have to drink it. :))

Cheers to you too.

I look at it this way, for the price of a carton of beer I can make six and of better quality, but now I have rum again so I'll have 2 or 3 before bed. :-D

Cheers.

I was never big on rum but everyone is different. I like my beer or scotch or vodka but I limit it to that. :))

I do have various other spirits and liquors as well as Ginger beer with a kick in stock. ;-)

About the only thing I don't make here is wine.

Cheers.

Speaking of glass.....what a travesty....

What's a pub without a pint? Move to ban glass in Scottish Highland pubs sparks outrage.

You will find that a very large number of pubs and clubs in the UK dispense beer in plastic glasses. Firstly to avoid having to sweep up broken glass. Secondly to stop fights with them. Lastly if they go "missing" they are cheaper to replace.

Welcome to the 21C.

At our FRA Club, we offer the option: glass, mug, or Red Solo Cup. Some of our members (myself included) keep our own ceramic mugs/tankards on the shelf.

I agree though I have it in glass which is soooo much better. Plus they want you to stop using plastic when not needed?

Good luck on your new apartment Julie. One thing I HATE MOVING BIG TIME. :))

There is only one proper way to drink real beer, and that is with a proper "mug wi' 'andle"

I agree. :)

We mainly use the "straight" glasses here and a stubbie cooler fits them well plus it keeps the beer colder for longer in our heat (when we get heat that is). ;-)

Cheers.

Then their is a tap out of the side of the fridge works great. :)) Had that once and it was great for a cold one, kept it at 38F and it was perfect.

Cheers
