Hello friends!
I am still here, and love to see that I am not the only beer drinker in the world. Keep having fun, and discussing anything you wish. There is no such thing as off topic here. Just a lot of burping..... :D

The grass is so dry around here that if you popped a top on a beer you might start a fire. LOL No kidding, I haven't seen it this dry here in years, we might be in for a very bad season. Well it's so dry I seen two trees fighting over a dog. :))

How well I know, beer O'clock comes anytime. Wine not so much for me, mostly cooking and here I live in the wine country of California. ;)

Way back when I was legal to drink at age 18 I liked the taste of Geenesee beer. But just one beer gave me a wicked headache. Budwieser was not any better. I think the beachwood aging left a nasty after taste for me.

So I was a Shlitz man untill they changed the brewmaster.

Now I drink cheap beer like Milwaukees best light. But i do splurge now and then and buy Hieniken. or Labatts blue.

Which wine country, Grant? NapaSonoma, Atascadero, or Mariposa? All three make great wine, and all three have decent local brewries, too....

NapaSonoma :)

I was twice stationed at Mare Island Navy Yard in Vallejo. Used to go to a place in downtown Napa, right on the river, can't think of the name, but good dark ales and decent steaks. And a little brew-pub off the square in Sonoma..

Took the Wine Train with my parents, but that story's for a different thread....

Vallejo is a nice town and I ate enough to get plenty wide but of course the beer. :)) My other sister couldn't pass and wine without stopping in a Limo. I think we hit everythig from vellejo to cloverdale and she was shot. LOL

You guy's always get the jump on us, we always just get done and you are always on the next day. ;)) My Daughter, Son-in-law and grandkids spent 3 years in townsville and had a blast, he is in the service to the end of this year, (25) years. He can do in the beer also. LOL
