I'm beginning to like him, but to me, David Tennant is the best to date. Having said that, I think its a real shame that Paul McGann did not carry on from the so-so film. Christopher Eccleston was also pretty good - it was a shame to hear about the 'internal difficulties' that he said were present in the programme, during his, too brief tenure, that made it impossible for him to continue. My first 'Doctor', was William Hartnell. My 'other half' was a die-hard Tom Baker 'Doctor'.....until David Tennant, so we agree on that! lol

Yes my fav was Tom Baker . Matt Smith reminds me off him but without the jelly babies
I wondered why Christopher Eccleston only did 1 season with Rose but David Tennant did a good job , I liked the way Rose Tylers story ended.
The whole thing is heaps better than the old 20min episodes they had .I'm going to watch the box some good movie's on tonight , just incase you guys over there in England wish to chat later and I don't see any spoiler's so night till morrow

Found a shop in town that sells bow ties. The motto on the disply is "Bow ties are cool." The display is a tall blue box. But nothing about Who put it there.

Not forgetting the Christmas special, and next years series...

Talk about twists and turns, a bowl of spaghetti contains a linear array of objects in comparison to last night's episode. Not to mention the cameos from earlier Doctors, and the appearance of River Song...

Now the question is, what is the real link between Clara and River?

Ah, but is he actually a new Doctor, or is this one of Steven Moffat's little diversions?

I guess we will have to wait until the end of November to see what the truth is (well, maybe)

Is anyone seriously telling me that adults actually care??? It's for the kids!!!

Ooooh nasty Daleks and Cybermen, better hide behind the sofa.

I don't believe Dr Who has been aimed at kids for a while.

They tried to go up market to appeal to the propeller heads. Not a patch on the original concept.

Yeh that is why it is so popular now

The new format is fantastic you grumpy old man where supposed to regress as we get older the second childhood starts at 50 and bragging rights start at 3 score and 10

Great idea. Hide the secret in the future. That way no one can tell it, because it's never been. Well at leaset not until the new season. But if he's not the Doctor, then Who is he?

Have you seen the last episode? I only ask because some networks run this at different times, and I don't want to spoil it for anybody.

Final hint: watch the last few minutes of the last episode of this season.
