In which case, we'd have 650 instant failures on our hands :-)

If you add up Congress and the Senate we would would have just about the same:(
I read on msnbc that some dweeb idiot in one of our hollow halls of government asked a Dr. if a female swalloed a min i camera. Would that not show vaginal view?
I can only hope the Dr's answer made this dolt feel like a dumbass. (Butt) I doubt it.

OMG! This muppet is an MP?

With all the labelling that produce has to have, maybe one is needed for Parliament: -

Another one with his head so far up, he's forgotten what the sun looks like

Jeremy Hunt

"That was wrong and we're moving to correct that. The centre of gravity in the NHS for 66 years has been big hospitals.

We need to change that and make the centre of gravity general practice and out-of-hospital care."

Tut, tut, tut Jeremy, you're only just realising this? It was known at grass root levels well over a decade ago.

True to form and it didn't take long, but then, what many people forget, is that this is how the Tories have always 'balanced their books' - by selling-off things that belong to the people of this country rather than the Tory party. Labour may have run-up debts, but the Tories also overspend and hide it by selling public assets, quite often at a far lower price than it's true value. Some might call that fraud. At the very least, it is another form of financial incompetence and the people of this country are paying for it several times over!

In Axminster, where I am shortly moving back to, the people of the town have in effect handed over £300k to the Health Trust responsible for 'merging' the in-patient beds of two hospitals (several miles apart) to one site, to try to fund the in-patient beds being kept in the town! A bit rich, considering that, originally, the hospital was bought and paid for by the people of the town in the first place! These blasted Health Trusts are just another layer of burocracy soaking up cash like a sponge and to be honest, the stench of something nasty, hangs around many a Trust board. The 'interests' of board and committee members do make for interesting, if not stomach-churning reading! Multiply all this for the whole country and frankly, it does not bode well.

‘Slow death of the NHS’: RT asks what a Tory govt means for the health service

The massive privatisation thrust under the Thatcher/Major regimes nearly killed me, I saw the health service improve dramatically under Labour, and now we are swinging back the other way.

I have to laugh , and people say there is a difference between party's in different country's .

First thing Tony Abbott and the Lib's tried to do was destroy our Medicare system . However they have now changed there minds somewhat when there was a big backlash and they relised that in the next election next year there party would no longer exist .

So Liberal s in Australia wish to kill medicare . Tory's in England wish to kill the NHS and the republicans in the states are still trying to kill O'bamacare , yep there all different party's in different country's !!!

2 country's have fallen for there B/S so only the Americans to go then they will have world domination of health care and stop the free ride of the commy's and world war 3 can officially start .

yep i'm wrong about the right wing facist nut jobs .

Oh John Howard ex Liberal leader and P.M said "nothing in this world is free " , you have now learnt what there narratives is to make you pay for the air you breath and sunshine you enjoy and keep you all as dead pesants

So maybe it time to stop electing the mister Richy Riches of this world before we are all sorry

Chris be careful Abbott has try'd to change things and funny who's been his target the GP's . Now there trying to play around with the PBS system for drugs . And funny enough he's using a the same tactic there too saying he can cut the cost something about $1 saving the Pharmacy can pass on if they wish . It's all B/S and designed to slowly kill medicare .

Give you a idea how .

Fed gov pays for health buy giving the cash to states to administer and spend on there health systems but he's cutting money to the states in other areas which means the states have to find other ways to pay for things which only really gives them one option to cut the health budget , he's not cutting the budget Abbot , but the states are .

All smoke and mirrors so be very careful you may just find the Tory's have a plan to covertly kill the NHS

Interesting report, do the Tories know how to actually run a country?

My son got hit by a car this morning, he's ok, but we are in the hospital while he is being observed. The free Canadian health service is looking after him very well.

Since my last post in this thread, things have moved along and stood still, none of which bodes well for the people of Axminster and East Devon. There are legal terms that describe obtaining monies, both under duress and under false pretences. I think we all know what those terms are, so the local M.P. is soon to be receiving a scathing and damning e-mail, from one very angry individual, who effectively donated money to a bunch of pen-pushing parasites!

Quite simply, Chris, the League of Friends handed over £300k for staff, so that the in-patient beds could be used at Axminster, in addition to those at Seaton. Playing Ping-Pong is one thing, but taking £300k and lying, is quite another thing! If it is taken into account, that I've seen more new housing built in Axminster in the last year, than 10 years in the Southend area, you have to question if these people have any grasp of mathematics - apart from the maths they use for expenses and bonuses! Indeed, given that East Devon District Council seems determined to turn East Devon into a building site, irrespective of what anyone thinks (yes, they are Tory controlled), there can be no justification for any of what is going on.
