To My Grandchildren

Here, is your world,
my dear loved children.

For better, or worse,
in sickness, or in health.

*

This sounds like an old-fashioned
wedding vow.

It is.
We're married to this earth.

Let's not consider
divorce.

Let's consider
life,
to it's fullest.

Poignancy

Perhaps, life's impressions
can be summed up in one word,

poignancy.

It's beauty resides
in its scope,

sadness, despair, anger, elation,
love.

A poignant life,
also,
needs to be shared.

How?

Listen to its music.

No More Crying

I hear the children crying
Through the stream of life,
Fighting their ways
Through the breaches of life.

Oh I hear the children crying
Through my head.

Silent is the way of life
And I roll on through.

Oh I hear the children crying
Through the stream of life,
Not fighting, but finding
Their ways through the silence of life.

Yes, breathing is the way of life,
No matter what your heart says.

No more crying for our children,
No more crying for you and me.
Unification has set us free.

Now Freedom!

You leave me here
In the cold.

Now, what am I supposed to do?

I smoke away my freedom
In the damaged air we're breathing.

Now fight!
Now fear!
Now freedom, is oh so near.

New energy,
No false..

No-ones on the fright..

You leave me here in the cold,
Now what the' f**k am I supposed to do?

I see freak shows
In the damage of the night.

Now fight!
Now fear!
Now freedom is oh so near.

Ref. Minuteman Statue, Lexington, MA

Standing Guard

Standing guard, to warn the world.
This time, a musket to be fired.
Alarm to make; a flag unfurled.
New steps to take, by nations, tired.

United Nations, by decree,
Given new authority.
Modified prosperity.
Sacrifice, from sea to sea.

Global warming's primacy.
Other thoughts now fallacy.

In Your Heart

It is Sirius in your heart,
Formalhaut runned through the blood
(before you became Jesus Christ)
Vega keeps the victory
Instead of the wealth.

The sun shines down on the children
And keeps them alive,
Together with their happiness,
They share it with small Proxima.

I share the light with our Lord,
In the smallness of my existence,
The smallest leaf in the tree of life.

The tree has to bloom
With a thousand leaves,
Who are us, in the smallness
Of our existence.

It is God in your smile,
As Rigel walks for a while
On the borders of our Multiverse.
He shares small stories
From outer space
In the brain of everyone
Who wants to listen.

Betelgeuze has changed form
In the dimension we're living in.

Nuclear Fusion always comes in handy.

Steady Going

Rock the beat,
Rock the rolling,
Steady going,
To the flight
That is here tonight.

Without my ride,
The rocking won't roll.

With my moonshine
That is mine mine mine.

The flight will be rolling,
Steady going..

Rocking the beat
Rocking the rolling
With my ride
By my side.

Rolling the rock
Steady going.

I am here tonight,
My ride by my side,
Rocking the roll,
Rocking the beat,
Steady going..
Steady going..

Lengthening Shadows

Lengthening shadows,
under leaves which won't fall --
right away.

But, they change color,
which gives them away.

A White Oak,
aging,
yet, another year --

As do we all,
year by precious year.

Carry The Burden Of Love

To carry the burden of love,
Is to hold on to yourselves.

Hold on to your children,
Hold on to your future,
Hold on th the pen,
Writing these words.

To carry the burden of love,
Is to carry yourselves.

Hold on to the Lord,
Hold on to certainty.

A seal on your lips
Tells nothing more.

The tongue-in-cheek
Will tell you nothing more.

To carry the burden of love,
Is to feel the gravity
On your head and in your bones.

Hold on to your elders,
Hold on to the past,
Feeling the future in your hands.

Nothing Is Hopeless

Nothing is hopeless, baby.
Just stick with me,
And we'll show you to be free.

We'll show you the waves of the sea,
Telling stories between you and me.

Nothing is hopeless, sugar.
Just stick with me
And I'll show you
The sight of the sea.

Between skies and sands,
And mothers and dads.

Nothing is hopeless, diamond,
In the sky,
In the sand,
In the remaining dust of the soil..

Time

Oh when will you ever learn
That striving only kills yourself.

The light doesn't withold the darkness.

Ooh time ..
Yees, time..

Lead your own life.

Time..

Manage the burst,
We've gotta manage the burst,
Striving only kills yourself.

The light doesn't withold the darkness.

Yeees time..
Oooh time..

Witholds the darkness,
Leads its own life,
Manages the burst.

Ooh time..
Yees time..

On Halloween Eve

On Halloween Eve,
we'd trade in old sheets, for new.
And, wrap up our children,
to beg for candy.

No rhythm or rhyme,
does this poem have.
It's serious business,
begging from your neighbors.

Have you ever begged for food?
Plenty of men did,
during the Great Depression.
The expressions on their faces,
defined mental anguish and defeat.

All the women on our block
had a kettle on the stove,
with soup, for the hungry --
and, they were always hungry.

And, they didn't wait for Halloween,
to beg, either.
They, also, wanted to work for their soup.

Not longer, afterwards, they found work --
and, three square meals a day --

as draftees,
in WWII.

*

Perhaps, times have changed --
and,
Halloweens are happier.

Your Fly-Over President

I do not care what you might think.
Election-time will prove me right.
This show is mine, though ship might sink.
For twenty-twenty, I can fight.

My sights are set, beyond next four.
Support, I have, to forge ahead.
My opposition, shown the door.
My word is law; to cross me, dread.

America is great, again!
And, jobs will spring, like weeds in Spring.
And, only voting done by men!
Only Christian values, sing!

Scientists, we'll show the door --
Unless, for oil and coal, explore.

A Holy Hallelujah

There's only a Holy Hallelujah,
Waiting for us.

Everywhere we look,
Is a Holy Hallelujah,
The beholder of truth.

There's only the Holy Hallelujah,
In the silence that is no more.

We find the silence
Of the Holy Hallelujah
In the silence
That has to be.

We see a Holy Hallelujah
Of what has to be.

You and me,
The Holy Hallelujah.

The God Of All Worlds

God of all worlds,
Is a soldier.

Respect to all, He says.
Humble your heart to the
Almighty Soul Of All,
He says,
Our God of all worlds.

He is small,
Our God of all worlds,
But He is righteous,
As the Mighty Soul Of All.

There He is, the God of all worlds,
Comforting our souls,
Comforting the All.
