Die Grüss (ein Tur weiter)

Obwohl du nicht sprechst,
Höre ich deine Worte,
Laut, wie zehntausend Schreie
In meinen Ohr.

Obwohl ich dich nicht sehe,
Stehst du for mich.

Die Sonne am Horizont grüsst dir,
Aber du bist nicht hier.

Ich grüsse zuruck
Wann ich dich sehe.
Wann ich dich höre.
Wann du bei mich sind.
Wann ich dich grüsse.

Die Sicherheit hat die Vergangenheit
In dem Ausgang gegrüsst und
Die Tur geschlossen.

Sie sind nicht mehr bei mich.
Ich sehe euch nicht mehr.
Ich grüsse Ihnen einen letstes Mahl
Und gehe ein Tur weiter.

Die Tur weiter,
Wo die Liebe wartet,
Wo die Freiheit hinweist
Und mich einen besseres Leben versprecht.

Ich halte meinen Tat bei die Worte
Und gehe nicht mehr zuruck.

Tell Me

You didn't tell me, oh baby.
Did you tell me to love you?
Did you want me to love you?
Did you want me to be near,
Oh did you tell me?

You didn't tell me..
I swear I could've heard
Your whispering in my ear.
I can feel your hand in mine,
Not shaking, but touching.

I can feel so much.
I can feel you so much.
Oh baby, I say
Well well well.

The whirling wind goes
Through your hair,
Where the thorntree
Forgot about crunching for the C.

You didn't tell me, oh baby.
Did you tell me you love me?
Did you want me to love you?
Did you want me to be near,
Oh did you tell me?

Oh baby, come and tell me
The whispers I've heard,
The touch I felt,
The feeling you had,
Well well, well oh well.

I swear I could've died
In your arms,
In your eyes,
In your life..

A New Day

I'd say.
Well, I'd say..

When everything should fall
Into a new day, the sun would smile
All of our worries away.

Into a new day.
Into a new day..

Where everything would
Rise and shine
Into a new day.

The moon could smile
And shine our worries away
But she is blocked by an angel,
Holding a gun, pointing it at the sun.

Holding a gun.
To the sun..

Diving and shining
Into a new day.
Into a new day..

Our worries away..

They fall.
They fall
Into a new day..

The moon would smile
To the sun, rising and shining
Into a new day..

I'd say.
Well, I'd say.
Into a new day..

Losing the gun,
Rising and shining
Our worries away.

Into a new day.
Into a new day..

The Silk Roads II

For grain and oil,
or silk and spoil,
We wend our way,
and have our say.

Jobs disappear,
with every year,
We wring our hands,
blame other lands.

A leader's voice,
might give one choice,
when many minds,
consensus binds.

Procrastinate?
Our children wait.

Inspiration, for the following poem, drawn from "Fascism: A Warning", by Madeleine Albright --
and, a local life guard.

My Choice

The sea wouldn't rise,
and flood my house. . .
But, rise, it did --
I waited, too late.

*

A choice of help,
is still available --
one life guard,
or a team of them.

Should I chance
on an individual's quick save,
or, wait for group consensus?

The choice, again,
is mine --

for as long
as it's available.

By My Side

Oh, walk by my side.
Oh, stay by my side.

The sun don't set
In your heart no more.

Shine as you have always done.
Shine the night away.

Oh, move round my soul.
Dive into our blood!

Walk by my side.
Stay by my side.

The moon don't cry
In your eyes no more.
A teardrop fell to the sky.

Shine as you will always do.
Shine the day away!

All I know of you
Is your face..
Swim into our sea!

Walk by my side
Stay by my side.

The stars don't shine
In your soul no more.
No need to shine back!

Shine as you will always do.
Shine the world away..

By my side..

The Black Hole Sun

Draw the line.
Draw the line..

The decision has been laid
In the hands of happiness,
In the reality of realness,
In the touch of your hands,
In the black hole sun.

The revolution of love
Leads the underground
Of the next station about to pass.

I put my head into the paper
And search for the good news.
Happiness lies in the eye of the beholder,
The article on the fifth page
Caught a glimpse of the sun's smile.

The Mona Lisa greeted her replica,
On the same wall she hung
And the moon hung in the same sky as the sun.

You mean the real world to me,
The sound of the real world.
Notes of music, flying off to the sky,
Where the stars hung in the same sky as our Lord,
The beholder of happiness,
In the reality of realness,
In the touch of your hands,
In the black hole sun.

Totally Unaware

The glassware was hung,
upside down,
over the bar.

Their spacing, quite randomly-executed,
was ideal,
and the late afternoon breezes
blew perfectly off the bay, form the west.

The windows were raised
to the afternoon's breaths,
enabling their transformation
into exquisite, repetitive harmonies.

And, yet, everybody
was
totally unaware
of experiencing the existential.

Ever more precious --
The atmosphere would never again be reproduced
in exactly the same way.

Our Heartbeat (your choice)

In an instant, a teardrop fell on my face
But the rain washed it all away.

I looked up at you,
I saw you cry.

Don't you cry, baby..
No worries here, under
The mighty hand of God.

I'm sorry I made you cry, baby,
Wished they could be tears of joy..

I looked up and received them from heaven.
I want to go there with you, one day.

In an instant, I looked into your eyes,
They showed me the eyes of an angel.
Its soft hands guided mine to our hearts,
Where I felt them, beating together.

The blindfold had lightly been caressed by the wind,
After which it followed its path to the heavens above.

Our heartbeats,
Close to each other,
The intertwinement
Of purest souls.

Feeling good with each other,
Be at ease with one another.

See the good signs, baby,
I'll kiss ye on the corners of your lips
And fall into a new day, with you by my side.
Closer yet or far away, your choice.

My Little Black Book

Here in my little black book,
the picture of you shows
The love in your eyes.

Here in my little black book,
I lost my tears and sent
Them to the big blue sky.

Here in my little black book,
My words are gone for good,
For worse, or even better.

For the tear stained pages
In my little black book.
I write them words,
I write them right here
In my little black book.

Them words of love and comfort,
Them words of laughter and romance,
Them words are gone for good.

Here in my little black book,
The memories remain,
Like the pictures in your eyes.

Here in my little black book,
It is raining on my shoulders
And in my oh so broken heart.

For them words, unspoken,
Are etched in my little black book,
For good, for worse or even better.

Them words of sanity and clarity,
Them words of trust and courage,
Them words are gone for good.
Here in my little black book,
Here in my little black book.

The Fourteenth Century,
Part II

As rich and poor
go separate ways,
As democracy sinks
beneath the waves,

As A.I. starts
to run the show,
As people have
no place to go,

With visions lost,
beneath the ground,
In stars' dark light --
no purpose found.

A people's end.
As it began.

An Unexpected Reply

Said an influential politician
to a particle physicist:
"I believe you!"

Space-time has been determined
to be infinite."

*

"Does that imply, that
no number of hadron colliders
will ever reveal a bottom level
of matter and energy?"

*

"It does?"

*

"Then, that quest
should not be funded,
any more."
