lets be energy independant for a change.

If you are talking oil, it is not a simple as it seems.

Oil comes out of the ground in different forms. About 90% of the oil that comes from the fields near the Shetland Isles is exported, most goes to the US. Because it is sweet and light and one of the easiest oils to be refined for the American market. It smells nothing like that stinky gloop that is pumped out of the ground in Texas.

I'd better be careful then or else I'll end up as the No 1 most wanted :)

Judging by your views over the last 12 months, I'd bet good money that you are already on a "to be watched" list somewhere.

Judging by the numerous security service checks I've had over the past 40 years, it seems I've always put the UK first and been cleared.

The question one has to ask is....

Are our politicians putting the UK first or themselves?

However I would be very surprised indeed if you passed one!

No no, you have to wear green wellies, read the Guardian, and hug trees, and cycle everywhere, and call your children Crispin and Amelia.

ROFL

Just like the EU audits that fail every year, CRB's are useless.

Thanks. At first thought that this was not relevant to the EU, how wrong I was :)

Won't be long now before CRB disappears like the "Dodo".......

CRB's "Breach" article 8

....oops, you sure you don't want to come out of the EU ASAP?

Edit:

Oh dear....

Belguim is part of the EU is it not?

Brussels is the seat of the EU is it not?

France & Belguim enforced the ban, are we next?

Hmmmn, another breach of Article 8...

A case of Brussels and Mind over Matter?

They don't mind and we don't matter maybe.....

Why should Muslim women be allowed to cover their faces when a lot of places enforce rules for motorcyclist to remove their helmets.

Especially when there is no explicit command in the Qur'an for women to cover their faces. To be modest and cover their bosoms yes, but faces no.

The law is wrecking people’s lives and is a breach of human rights, claimed civil rights campaigners in reaction to a man in Manchester being forced to admit to warnings received when he was 11. The 21-year-old man was ordered to twice disclose information that he was cautioned by Greater Manchester Police over the thefts of two bicycles ten years ago – once when applying for a part-time job at a football stadium and the other for a university sports degree.

As per usual, when you don't have lorries to drive to keep you off the streets and off the boards, you chuck in everything bar the kitchen sink to bolster your anti everything views. First of all you start off about CRB's, then mention Europe, then go onto Muslim veils, all in one post. The Human Rights legislation is being totally misused by people that simply wish to cover up previous misdemeanors. We all know that some kids get into a phase of trouble in their teenage years and then become reformed characters, but the truth is that most are more likely to re-offend in future than those that have never been in trouble. The police do not give out Cautions and Warnings without good reason, because they know it will go on the record.

Civil Rights campaigners are just subversive troublemakers, supported by disreputable get rich quick lawyers. The law is the law, if you don't like our laws, then bog off and go and live somewhere else, and good riddance to you.

Oh dear, looks like someone got out of bed the wrong side this morning.

If they knew themselves it would be amazing!

In that case it would be really awesome if the LibDems themselves knew.

Yes we already know what you and your party want. Power without the responsibilities. How many times now has your "leader" turncoated?

So what do you and your party want?

I thought you would have realised by now, I don't have a party. I'll vote for the party that puts this country first. However from the looks of things, it looks like I'll be not voting anymore.

So is there a country anywhere that has a party that you would vote for?

When you find any that has honest politicians you let me know all right? In the meantime stop fishing.

I already have the answer I was looking for.

Knwing you as I do, I thought you might. So easy to yank your chain. No one but me and the ballot box knows my politics and that's where it's staying. I've already stated that it's more fun here than watching "mature" adults playing with numbers and pic's.

Are they storing up future problems for themselves?

I see this is essentially becoming (for good reason) a British blog.

Just this one American's perspective:

Never subordinate your great country to other countries. They don't care about you, only their own problems and ideas. Just see how Germany has economically destroyed the economies of Greece, Cyprus and other Southern European countries. Sound familiar?

All the other European Countries have their individual language, culture and history.

Remember, Countries and People's don't change, only their situations.

GET OUT of the EU! NOW!!

We will do if we get our way....

Godfrey Bloom, not done the Party any harm, just harmed himself, has now lost the
whip.
Shakedown time for UKIP, get rid off the dross unlike the other parties who
defend them to the hilt....or cover-up for them until after their dead.
