Doesn't say much for the current mop of muppets! Also shows those sensible enough to realise that should these muppets win a clear majority in 2015, there is no way in hell we'll get a referendum on Europe.

Way to Go Nigel, keep turning the heat up!

The Mail has been openly hostile to the Coalition government since 2010, therefore it is no surprise that they are giving prominence to almost anything said about UKIP. The anti establishment and anarchist folk are loving every bit of it.

Promises, Promises

"Government will focus on 'economy, welfare and education' in run up to 2015 election."

Amazing how the soundbites come out in force heading to an election......

Iceland says NEI!

Common sense prevails in Iceland at least!

It's always been that way at home and abroad. When was the last time a Labour or Tory candidate knocked on your door? Come the spring of 2015 they'll all come out of the woodwork, and you'll be knee deep in them! It will be the same for the MEP's in Spring next year. You only see them when they want your votes. At least my lot are fairly active all year round, not just at elections. But this is the Europe thread, I digress.

Well as the Euro trough is extremely large, it's about time we got paid for our votes!

Lib-Dems = £1000
Labour = £5000
Tory = £10,000
UKIP = 6 pints & a monkey

That's per voter of course!

Think it's you that should face reality. Just WHAT are the Lib-Dems but a fledgling party.

UKIP are currently on 22% in most polls, but as you stated many times before: - A week is a long time in politics with 2 years being a lifetime.

So be prepared for a massive shock come 2015. Just to upset you as you didn't like me gambling on the Olympics, I'm going to be betting a monkey that Lib Dems will end up 4th or lower - unlike you, I'm prepared to lose!

The Lib Dems are in Government and have 5 Cabinet Ministers, and 15 other Junior Ministers. Not exactly a fledgling party how ever much you might want think so.

Just to upset you as you didn't like me gambling on the Olympics, I'm going to be betting a monkey that Lib Dems will end up 4th or lower

Well I'm glad that you have so much money that you don't know what to do with it, I just wish I had. There are people starving in the world, there are disabled serviceman's associations, I think UKIP is pretty skint as well. But if you prefer to try to score childish points by gambling £500 in this way that's up to you. I trust your good wife is fully aware and is in agreement?

unlike you, I'm prepared to lose!

That's why you never get anywhere!

Softly softly flushee out monkee .....

3 for a tenner & a hot pick 2 for £40....money for old rope as they say :)

As for people starving, talk to your friend in the House & demand where all the overseas aid is going!

..Naw nothing to worry about, just little hiccups. All will be right with the world when you wake up tomorrow morning.

Really? You think so? OMG, better get the Anderson Shelters ready!

When we bought this house in 1983 it still had the original Anderson shelter from WWII. I unbolted it and it took two of us to carry each of the 6 curved panels down the garden and up the alleyway to the street, they were really heavy. They were supposed to be set about 3 feet in the ground with an extra three straight panels on each side, but our one was sat on the ground without the extra panels. I reckoned it was more likely to have been converted after the war and simply used as a garden shed. They were issued free to all householders who earned less than £5 a week, and those with a higher income were charged £7. 3.6 million shelters of this type were distributed from 1939 to the end of the war. We never had a Morrison shelter though.

Naw nothing to worry about, just little hiccups. All will be right with the world when you wake up tomorrow morning.

It is perfectly obvious to everyone that this weekend you are being deliberately fractious, childish, and sarcastic as per usual. You can try to pick a row with me as much as you like, but I'm not arguing with you. Unlike you, I have better things to do.
