WE'RE UP !!!!!

Uploads work, and completed uploads can be reported !!!

Downloads, not yet.

Also, the Cricket graphs don't yet reflect the work flow. All in good time.

There appears to be a new cricket graph.

That's because the servers have moved, and don't use that link any more!! Check out number crunching for the new link.

Just to be sure, because there are still no tasks running on my machine:

i dont need to change anything about my setup after the relocation, right? the processes are gonna start up as usual?

That's right. All the servers have the same internet addresses, just different physical locations.
When I allowed network activity, all my uploads and reports went through straightaway, no muss, no fuss, no bother.

Just chiming in real quick to say:

We're not officially "up" yet, as we finished earlier than expected. We're still testing all the different parts and pieces. Long story short: during the whole procedure we hit several known unknowns, and unknown unknowns, but nothing tragic. We are seemingly limited by the disk i/o on the upload server at this point, and I have other throttles in place to keep other congestion down until we see if various backlogs clear by tomorrow morning. I took some pictures, but not down at the colocation facility, as pictures down there aren't allowed.

But we are at 125 Mbit/s with a Max at about 210 Mbit/s.
Is this true? Can this be a sign of easing of the bandwidth, or is it just temporary, until things at the closet are settled and limits eventually enforced?

And of course congratulations for the good work!
I did not expect it would be so quick and smooth (at least seen from our side!)!

Let's fly!

Everything fine. but all of my downloads are gone
in fact I have nothing :(

I have (had) nothing too. But because I trashed my APs (9 of them) trying to install the new AP for CPU (r1797) during the break, they got resent to me as lost WUs - in 49 seconds - that's about 1.5MB/sec(!)
They are now happily sucking up my CPU; of course, getting nothing else - "project has no work available" - except on my GPU only machine where I am getting "Project has CPU work but you don't want it" - talk about rubbing your face in it...

PS: Guys, great job on the xfer!

Good to see the servers back up, and work I had uploaded OK.

Cleers for the better bandwidth limit ...
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

That's fine with us, Matt. Building up slowly and making sure it works is better than going full bore and messing something up you can't fix.

Good job getting it done so fast. Take the night off. :)

Hopefully now that the bandwidth has been fixed those "set & forget" people without the TCP fix will hang in there and return some of the work that they were allocated.

Cheers.

Any ETA on when tasks will start being handed out again ? All my boxes that have had stuff to report, have reported, but none of them are getting any new tasks at this time.

We can´t have pictures but we have bandwidth, so let´s celebrate that! DL/UL are realy fast here, something i realy neever see on SETI, at least on the last years. Now we need to rise the limits!
