I hold a candle up and sometimes I am discouraged that I do not see more but we can be the grates in the world, if we can only remember how. so were I can and when I can I try to help light another candle. |

According to Newsweek, you aren't even in the top 10. It's no big deal over where a country is ranked as long as the people living in that country are happy. http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2010/08/15/interactive-infographic-of-the-worlds-best-countries.html I do not fight fascists because I think I can win. That America may just not be the greatest country in the world anymore. This is a scripted, fictional, political debate. But the thoughts exposed hit a raw nerve with me, because most of them are true. In a real life debate, there are no politicians that would have the grasp of facts and figures quotes, and I won't answer any debate about whether all of the are in fact accurate. My point is the emotion and thought provoking point that is driven home by these few minutes. After the first two minutes of driving home the point, he pulls back and reminds us of WHY we were once considered the greatest nation on the planet. And what we can do to regain that position. A great moment in televised drama. "Learn from yesterday. Live for today. Hope for tomorrow." Albert Einstein "With cats." kittyman
