The angle grinder skills are good, and no Kola was hurt in the making of this post. But, I cannot say the same for the floor.

I inspected the guy in the loo, with a leaky pocket of super glue. I am sorry to say, without destroying that particular trap, and all it's porcelain, the angle grinder is useless here.

I will need to carefully soak the super glue in urine for many hours to loosen and free the lad. It is my recommendation that male drinkers, when needed, visit this trap and ....

Review of the security footage has shown a grey-clad blob doing the job on the door, but since there are a lot of grey-clad blobs in the building it is very hard to clearly identify one from anther (Many members have adopted this "uniform" as they wish to retain their anonymity, which we fully respect). It can be great fun when you address a "grey blob" as one you are familiar with, only to discover it is someone you've never spoken to but have always wanted to...

With respect Chris, we use them as grinders as well as saws - it all depends on which disk head you put on the core machine. You can even get a metal cutting chain saw head, which is "great fun"...

No arguing there Chris - These particular tools are sold as two parts, the "machine" which is the engine, handles and gearbox, and the "tool" which is the bit the cutter is mounted onto, with all the appropriate guards and other protection needed for the designed duty. They are beasts, starting at about 2kW for the "small" ones, and going up to about 7 or 8kW for the really big beasts, and taking disks (or cutters depending on the tool) up to about 600mm.

What's all this about health & safety and protection. I used the 10KW cutter, with out any guards, to free the Kolas, which is why the floor, and not the Kolas, are in a state.

I am glad Julie got the Kolas to server her fresh beer and whiskey chasers. The noise was traumatic and the best treatment is to get them right back on the job they were trained for. But, a plate full of Eucalyptus leaves pleased them no end ...

I did wander why there were a couple of Koala staggering around with leaves stuffed in their ears....

How is the release programme going for the guy stuck to the door and pan??

Still needs at least 2 more days of urine treatment. The superglue is so thick it takes the pee a long time to penetrate, let alone counter the gluiness with the hydroxyl bond breaking.

I think we suffered an information overload from young John.

Cleaning crews are now demanding danger money as well as overtime...

Bang bang, eh up.

On behalf of t'Committee I hereby bring this extraordinary meeting to order.

The motion before us tabled by Brother Rob, is that the Cleaning crews are demanding danger money as well as overtime, to carry out certain duties in the Members loos, upon the basis that their contracts did not cover dealing with Grey blobs and superglue.

I would propose that we increase their remuneration by 10%, and increase John's subs accordingly.

Better make sure they wear their 'biohazard suits' and be equipped with a geiger counter... That stuff could be 'hot'...

Certainly, after this time "smell'O'meters and BA sets are needed.

Steam cleaning would be a good way to proceed. I see from the adverts that an X5 steamer might work?

I'll agree with ya on that, Vic.

I just wish Baby would be a bit more friendly. Lately he has started settling down in my lap, but he still complains when I try to pet him.

When I sit down, most of the time I get 3 Shih-Tzus sitting in my lap. Other times the other two get on the back of the chair on my shoulders, so I have 5 Shih-Tzus squatting, cuddling and asking for a rub ...
