This dive also serves food, right?

I decided to try KFC's new boneless Original Recipe tonight. I got the 2-piece meal and added a piece for $1. Surprise, when I opened the box, it contained... no, not 2 like my fast-food luck usually runs, but 4 pieces. Since I wasn't very hungry, I ate 2 and saved the other 2 for tomorrow. I ate the biscuit and mac and cheese, though. As for the chicken, it was okay, just what its name implies. It still has the skin, as far as I can tell. I miss the days of skin-free crispy.

Not a great fan of KFC, or fried chicken per se, although I do hold stock in KFC's parent, YUM Brands (KFC/Pizza Hut/Taco Bell/A&W/Long John Silver's). 4 out of 5 ain't bad. For crispy chicken breast sandwiches, I prefer Arby's and Jack-in-the-Box. But what I'd really like right now is about 6 fat sausage rolls, with coarse-ground mustard, steakfries, and a pint of John Courage Ale.

Now I'm hungry. Wish you could get a decent bacon butty in this country...

Culver's fried chicken is pretty tasty, if they have a location near you.

I didn't...
I always use plain mayonnaise on my BLT's though. We don't have the HP sauce over here...

BLT and bacon sarnies are two very different things.
Bacon sarnies are just that - bacon, bread butter (or mayo) and sauce.
BLT are a strange thing, bacon, bread, lettuce and tomato - now why have a "healthy" salad with a wander food like bacon??

You have the recipe wrong - it's bread, mayo (or peanut butter), Bacon, Bacon, Bacon, tomato and lettuce. The L & T are garnish for the BACON. (8{)

That looks utterly delicious, but not like something I'd have ketchup on. I'll try the brown sauce, but I reserve the right to have it plain in future.

There are two or three within ten miles. I try to avoid them on the grounds that they're expensive and a bit greasy for my taste. And I like their cheese curds too much.

That looks good, but can you translate "bap" to American?

Big soft bread roll, not a crusty roll.

I also like Turkish bread a lot and it's very cheap. Only 75 euro cent in the Indian shop

Burger buns?

Ok, that does it. I'll be paying McD a visit at the earliest oppurtunity.
I doubt it will compare to the original though.

Breakfast is McD's best thing, and now there's word they will serve it all day. Yay. I prefer sandwiches with sausage or American bacon to the Canadian, though.

If you live in an area where there are White Castles, they make the best fast food breakfast sandwich out there. The eggs seem to be really fresh, and fresh-cooked, not frozen and nuked. I haven't tried egg on a slider, but the ones with sausage or bacon are great. (Their sausage is just a wee bit spicy for me, but I can handle it.) And they start serving it at midnight.

I don't like anybody's hash browns. McD's are too greasy and everyone else's are too peppery and tend to be overcooked.
