That may be true, but one doesn't get the same quality of banter in the Q&A section that one can partake of here.

Let us hope that Eric does manage to find the time to support Angela's RAC, and that soon she will be able to support herself in the to which we have all become accustomed (not to mention enjoy).

Such banter as in the regular forums is frowned upon.

I must say...

If it comes down a choice for Eric between fixing Angela's computer or driving to the lab and kicking the scheduler, I'm afraid I have to vote for the scheduler.

Sorry, Ang. Your RAC may have to wait even longer for its new support.

I would support Angela's RAC, but Eric might not approve.

No matter what support Eric gives to Angela, it won't help her RAC until the scheduler is fixed...

LOL, very true.

I posted Eric about it, but he may not even be at home right now.

Well it looks ass if the scheduler has had its tyres kicked, so now its the turn of Angela's computer.
Best of luck with that, I suspect it will be harder to find the right place to apply the kick of life to a small PC compared to a big rack of servers....

I didn't get around to fixing Angela's computer this weekend. But it's her fault.

I transfered 10 of my RAC to her account so she can post and hooked her account up to one of my computers at work. Maybe she'll let me fix her computer this weekend.

Actually, it IS my fault he didn't fix my computer. I made him go to a family party with my relatives. It pretty much killed the day.

Thank you dear... for everything.

(I thought about making Eric give me 100 RAC points, but then realized that would only give him free license to put off fixing my computer for a long, long, long time. It seemed best to simply ask for 10 right now. I didn't realize he had set me up with another computer!!!)

Nice to see you have a supportive husband. We were all getting very worried about loosing our Raccoon Lady and her RAC, but she's back :-)

I think Angela's RAC and Eric's support of it is going to be a cross-topic point of humor for a loooong time to come.

(Mind you Ang - might cost you a days fishing .......)

Watch him catch the limit and you have to clean and cook. Well, really fresh fish is good so it would be a win win.

Congrats on the funding and good luck.

Unfortunately, being stereo-typed in a suit is too often the important part for sweetening dumb uncaring accountants... Especially when facing those who haven't a clue about what the science is!

Buy another suit to gain some further grants? ;-)

Keep searchin',

Congrats to Eric on securing the funding....I am sure it is much harder to come by in this day and age.

And it would appear your computer is doing better these days as well. Good news there too!

Congrats Eric on the funding. And I for one hate wearing a suite and tie. The suite is ok, But I swear its a conspiracy to make shirts to damn tight around the neck. And then you have to hang yourself with a tie. BaH
