In this Country the welfare system is broken. It comes from the federal government. That is a breach of my contract called the Constitution. If it's not in the Constitution it's a tenth amendment issue--up to the state and or it's people.

We are 16 trillion dollars in debt. They (feds) write check with their mouth that they cannot keep personally with the tax base. It's a simple matter of numbers. I'm somewhat sure you know how to balance a checkbook? Ya, it's that simple. We didn't get that far in debt by just the left, it's a issue of both parties in a attempt to buy votes. It has worked so far. Wont work forever, that is also a simple matter of numbers.

These conspiracy theories will always be there, whilst there are people whose interests are in bringing down or embarrassing an administration, and others willing to believe them.

The JFK one is perhaps the best known. At its height the Kennedy Dynasty virtually ran America, it is alleged that there were those who thought one families control like that was wrong. Then there is the Monroe connection. The Twin towers at Ground Zero continues to abound, as does our own Princess Diana. If there were any conspiracies they would have been so serious, that they would have been hidden in such a way that it would never come to light. If they exist, some may be making educated or inspired guesses a bit too close to the truth, but it will never get proved.

Guido makes an open allegation about JFK. Perhaps the reality is that it's what the global population WANT to believe, to explain what happened. He mentions SI groups, this has been alleged many times over many years. They say that in every country there are groups of the most rich and powerful, that see themselves as above the elected governments, Masons, Templars, and others get regularly mentioned as also being involved. If they exist they will be pretty damn sure to cover their tracks.

Going back to the thread title, I don't think Murdoch tried to buy the Presidency, as such, but it is possible that among others, he did want to have some influence on future policy and legislation. We have a somewhat similar situation over here where the Conservative party is traditionally funded by the middle and upper class shires, and the Labour party is bankrolled by the trade unions. A millionaire landowner wouldn't want a new Motorway going through his estate, any more than the Unions would want anti-strike laws.

We have to be pragmatic and accept that it is the way of things, and we won't change it by ranting here.

Again nothing that hasn't been said in years. I know there was material shredded--I don't agree with why it was done but again that doesn't help my understanding of how your level of info is so distinguished from others?

I did a 50 page paper specifically focussing on this situation in college. We had a military family friend who worked in the Pentagon (now passed) and I was fortunate to have 2 days of reading paperwork from some library archives (I was in a room with a guard) to use in my research. What I read wasn't classified but it was better than encyclopedia material for sure. I doubt you've read other than what would be obtained in this situation.
