[quote][quote]How about a pastrami on rye?

With peanut butter on one slice of bread and Swiss cheese on the other side of the pastrami.

I have had pastrami on rye but never with PB and cheese pastrami.

One of my favorite sandwiches - on whole wheat or multi-grain bread:
Peanut Butter, Bologna (all-beef), American Cheese, Pastrami, Provolone, Ham, Mozzarella, Turkey, Monterey Jack, Horseradish.
With a cold root beer or a wheat beet to wash it down.

Oh man, sounds like you cleaned out the fridg. LOL

Yeah, like the only things missing were some jalapenos and the proverbial kitchen sink.

I knew a guy that liked jalapeño sandwiches.

My Nephew at one point ate those, He probably still does.

Santa Fe in the summer of 78?
.

Been there and done that for ten years. Peppers I love so much while living in NM other than some times heart burn.LOL

A favourite of mine is canned sardines on toast. We get some Portuguese canned sardines here with jalapenos in the oil. Very nice on toast.

Nah, He was 6 years old then.

OK. The guy I was talking about was about 20 years older than that.

I like peppers very much and use them all the time mild or hot it doesn't matter. But the ones that are so hot the rip out your mouth I stay away from.

This may sound strange, and I thought so too until I tried it.
Peanut Butter and onion slices sandwich.
It is actually quite good.

Peanut butter on celery??? You aren't in the family way are you?

Chris, celery stuffed with peanut butter is a pretty common snack for children on this side of the pond. If you put raisins on top of the celery, it is called "ants on a log".

I do celery and PB a lot but raisins I never heard of together, I'll have to put it on my must try list. :)
