Almost forgot - peanut butter and bacon, on bread or a well-buttered biscuit.

Now that's one I'll have to try.

What the hell is "jet-puffed marshmallow creme"!

The inside of a marshmallow, in a spreadable form. In other words, 98% sugar and 2% some oil byproduct to hold it all together. With peanut butter it is heaven on bread. Purists will insist that it has to be white bread, for the best effect.

BTW, peanut butter mixed with corn syrup has a similar flavour, but it is too runny to make a good sandwich. It is great on ice cream though, or straight off a spoon.

Phew! these odd combination of foods have traditional connotations you know :-)))

Must admit never tried that one before!

Never tried PB on Celery! That's the only way I get my kids to eat celery. It's a great snack to leave on the table. It seems to disappear.

Well this is not really a sandwich but it's one of my favorite ways to eat peanut butter. Melt it and pour over popcorn.

That 2nd line sounds so humorous, both You & Chris type in French better than I ever will.

Well if you were God do you think you would be doing the cooking? :))

Yes, Grant, because Saint Peter is certainly not a very good cook ! ;)

And my English will never be so good as yours, Victor ! ;)
It's necessary that I read again W.Shakespeare or H.Melville with a plate of singed bananas covered with molten peanut butter !

Almond butter is made near here.. an alternative for those who have peanut allergies.

The basic recipe to make peanut butter is peanuts, salt, and if needed a little bit of oil, blend until creamy. spread on.. well whatever you want.
