It is a bottle opener. Look at the shadow of the end of the tail. |

It is a bottle opener. Look at the shadow of the end of the tail. Winner!!!! I tried to crop most of the tail off, because that would have made it too eazy. Here is the underside and tail. The tail is used to pry open bottle tops and the underside for twist types. It has been will used. |

Thanks Carlos. Saw one of those in a shop a few weeks ago. Here is an easy one. What is it used for? |

Does the round end have a magnet for attaching to a refrigerator? Some might, the ones I've used do not. |

Winner! I told you it was easy. Thank you. I'll get something up by this evening. I have an idea or two for things in my kitchen, but they might be too easy. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Oh, gee, I just remembered I owe you guys a kitchen thingie. This may be too easy, but I couldn't find the thing I had in mind. I included a Dove Promise for scale. I did find another thing, but I don't know what it is myself. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

I believe I have seen tubes like this advertised as garlic paper removers, so I will guess that it is some sort of garlic peeler. (Again, why buy it if a knife works just fine?) |

I believe I have seen tubes like this advertised as garlic paper removers, so I will guess that it is some sort of garlic peeler. Yeah, I thought that was too easy. I'll work on something for the next time I win. Angela wins. PM coming soon. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Thank you for the win. The nickel is there for size. The raccoon is there for your amusement. If this were the Beets Thread the winning entry would be "Punch Bowl for Super Models" Answer for me these questions three... 1. What is this called? 2. What is its use? 3. Why do I own this silly thing anyway???!!!!! |

Caviar Dish/bowl & Spoon A logical guess, but an incorrect one. (The spoon is Mother of Pearl, though...) |

It's a salt cellar. It holds salt for service on a formal dining table. You own it because you like both Alton Brown and Martha Stewart. (Do you?) David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |
