Yes, I know you all donate your computer time and the electricity to run it. That is a given. The point is..... With so many participants here, more than any other Boinc project, it could be supported monetarily better than any. By the users. Not by grants or millionaire benefactors. By us simple, dedicated users. You don't have to possess deep pockets for this, folks. 84 cents a month. That's a $10.00 donation once a year. And you get a green star next to your username for a year. That's one heck of a bargain....LOL. Do you have any idea what this project could achieve if just a modest percent of you folks would take a few moments and give up what each month.... A 1/3rd of a cuppa Starbucks? A quarter of a gallon of gas? 4 cigarettes? 1 beer? The response in Eric's 'We are thankful for' thread in News really and truly has amazed me with the wonderful responses from folks who had never posted before.
