For those who celebrate, may Thanksgiving be loaded up with family, football, food and a fun day. We all have much to be thankful for. |

A very Happy Thanksgiving to all my Seti friends. I hope those who are able to, have a fine day with their families or whoever you may choose to get together with. If any are alone, I hope they have some good things to be thankful for as well. I do, by my nature and habits, tend to dwell on what is a bit dark in my life at times. But on days like Thanksgiving, I do try to ponder a bit and realize just how lucky I am, regardless of what may not always be what I wish it were. The Lord has really blessed me in so many ways, and today, I give thanks for that. May you all find some things to be thankful for too, no matter how small. God bless, be well, and enjoy the holiday. Adding my own wishes for Good Health and Good Fortune to all onn this Thanksgiving Day. While I am spending the day by myself (not "alone" - between God and my online friends, I am never "alone") rather than share a cold with my family, I, too, have much to be thankful for. The list would swamp the servers, but know that you are all on it. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

We had 7 humans, 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 bird and a couple of fishes, after dinner We humans all played domino train(that's what My relatives called it), oh and the dogs got some turkey, gravy and mashed potatoes too. 1 dog is 14(98) years old now, it seems like only yesterday that I was helping to raise that dog as a pup, now She's a senior and not as energetic. My sister in law the RN said as one grows older ones metabolism slows down and My Nephew is having problems again in His marriage, possibly money, as He's living with His Mom and Younger Sister again, I think on a cot... Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home with ones cat... 55mph to cross 45 miles of desert took 50 minutes, coming home I said no way that I'm crawling that slow, so I went 70mph and that took 40 minutes, not so dang boring...
