Here is my 'centrist' tendency -- I like the idea of Rice as Secretary of State -- Condi Rice. Heck, and for Secretary of Defense -- another Republican -- Colin Powell.

As to the Teapublican party -- depends just how much dominance the Teaparty social conservatives have -- they might run Ryan, if the right wing of the party has its wings clipped then Jeb Bush, or for that matter, Rubio or Nikki Haley.

One of the problems for the the incumbent party -- it is difficult for candidates to build up a following without seeming to undercut the President.

For the Republicans -- well they have a fair amount of talent, but they need to figure out if they can pivot to the center-right from the far right. If they stay on the far right, the electoral map is NOT friendly for them -- I mean just how many times can the Confederacy dominate politics.

4 years ago, they whined. They said, we need to regroup.
They didn't regroup. They talked a little sense for a few months, and then most of the next 2 years was a mad dash for power.
That worked.
Another two years, and it didn't.
Plus, Romney ran 6 years.

As a reminder, 20 years ago, Limbaugh suggested a lady hold a bake sale to raise a large amount of money she needed, to demonstrate how people could rely on themselves and charitable other individuals rather than always looking to gubment.

I think that when Ms. Clinton threw herself under the bus for Obamma and the libya attack, She did herself in for a run in 2016. We havent heard the truth on why they didnt get help when they called for it. Some high level schumck called it. Who called it needs to come out.

Well I hope the remaining conservatives in congress agree to a compromise of not only allowing NO cuts to social programs but exponential increases to them, and ask for an increase in the already automatic tax increases and further cuts to the military.

I've already increased my additional withholdings to prepare for my sentence.

Honestly, as conservative as Obama is I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see minor cuts to programs in conjunction with increased taxes. But the Limbaughians cannot admit that their president is conservative because he's a democrat that's for gay marriage.
