I need to keep off the beer as I have set myself 2 weeks to complete it. The last one I wrote finished at 69 pages (normal length), and the time seems to be dribbling away fast.

I prefer clotted cream to double cream - it stays in a heap rather than trying to slide off to one side...

Sheila used to like making rubber pudding for the children.

This consists of jelly and evapourated milk.

Wisk the evapourated milk untik stiff, then drop the melted jelly in to the evapourated milk and mix until complete, then stick it in the fridge for a couple of hours.

Yummy!
