Hi,

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction on this, as I couldn't see anything that applied on other similar posts.

I'm using an 1Gb ATI Radeon 5450 graphics card on a Win XP PC.
Catalyst Version 12.8
Provider: AMD

BOINC: 7.0.28

DirectX 9.0c

I recently had to reinstall Windows, and have pulled in all the latest patches, updated drivers, etc.

Previously, BOINC used to run things like Collatz Conjecture and Milkyway@Home on the GPU, but now doesn't - it runs them on the dual core Celeron CPU.

Am I possibly missing a driver or something?

Yes, you're missing the OpenCL component of the driver. AMD stopped supporting OpenCL for their Windows XP drivers. So you'll have to uninstall the present Catalysts 12.8 and install something like the 11.12 or 12.1 drivers, as those do have the OpenCL component still included. Anything after 12.1 does not (even while some say they do, they don't).
