I tend to agree with that argument, so in the back of my mind I keep the thought that just maybe ET has been here or is here and we are being kept out of the loop for our own good.

If they have or are, you would be correct.

I'm still waiting for someone to produce one good solid proof that we are being visited on a regular basis in the form of a being or an object that is not of earthly origin.

Most UFO have explanations; we need more evidence for the claims; eye witness testimony is the worst kind scientifically; people with badges (police, military) are not any less susceptible to tricks of the mind than the rest of us.

He was right. Saw an interview yesterday with Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan and Arthur C Clarke. Sagan told so many truths in his life no one could refute, he was respected by many for that, so will Hawking be, after his death.
