SKOFGA - Stamm Klasse Ordnung Familie Gattung Art

A mammal - right, do I have any suitable question before I hazard another answer? *ponder*

Well we were offline :)

Thanks.

Ok, I learned something the other day in the zoo. On checking that information I found it wasn't fully accurate.
The zoo in question has larger boards giving interesting and fairly unknown facts about the animals shown.

nope - just the tidbit I learned from the board - if possible with the more accurate details.

Sorry I wasn't clear about what the question was.

Elephants and graveyards?

They don't instinctively head to a specific location to die. Discoveries of large groups of elephant bones are more likely due to a cataclysmic event such as a fire.

Chameleons don't change colour for camouflage, rather in response to colour or emotion.

Not chameleons either - Elepahnt was closer to the species in question but still a way off.

I suggest you try and find the right species frist :)

Elephant not chameleon narrows it down to a mammal.

What's commonly found in zoos...

Giraffe?

Mammal, yes

Not that close to Elephant - just not a reptile but a mammal.

Not a herbivore.

Carnivorous mammal...

Polar Bear?

Not actually left-handed, despite claims to the contrary.

Lives far longer in Zoos due to not fighting all the time.
