I don't seem to have had any new tasks since before the outage. Bit hard to be totally sure because the task pages are so slow to load. Notice "replica behind master" says offline, despite the green in the left-hand column...

Contacting the scheduler seems to be hit or miss for me. It timed out one time, then was fine the next, then 5 minutes after that, timed out three times in a row, then connected.

No new work since coming back for me, either.

Is thinman dying?

Thinman is the web server, Synergy is the scheduling server and should be able to handle the load just fine.

synergy: Intel Server (2 x hexa-core 2.53GHz Xeon, 96 GB RAM)
thinman: Sun V40z (4 x 2.2GHz Opteron, 28 GB RAM)

Thinman should be fine but may be supplemented with another server down the road. We've cleared out 4 servers I think to date with more scheduled which frees up a few machines to do simple tasks like web servers.

Here's all I'm seeing recently:

My BOINC get:
Scheduler request failed: Couldn't connect to server
.. and ..
Scheduler request failed: HTTP internal server error
[EDIT#2: .. and ..
Scheduler request failed: Server returned nothing (no headers, no data)]

.. messages.

Scheduler server URL x.20 is not reachable well.

[EDIT#1: Last contact of my BOINC to scheduler server: Aug/29 2012, 0:18:16 UTC (from the online overview).]

Even getting a list of currently assigned tasks is taking a very long time before a response. Feels like a problem with the database drive array being cranky.

No luck contacting the Scheduler here, and looking at the network traffic graphs it's only at 10Mb/s where it should be around 17-19Mb/s.
Server status shows green, but the Scheduler isn't responding.

Much trouble connecting to the servers to report here too.
Forums somewhat dodgy.
Either another DOS or bot attack, or something's not happy in serverland.

I've had 2 sucessful sheduler contacts reporting tasks today, but they're piling up in the validate queue.
Just so you all know reorting is only the first hurdle. Good luck

ATI tasks are running out on my network and no new work(CPU or GPU) is being sent out due to problems with the server.
The cricket graph shows a huge tail off since midnight (cricket graph time).

I wanted to look at tasks from my ATI host, took over 180 seconds to connect,
whithout timing out, though?!

Bits in started downwards at midnight.

Some progress: I connected 5 consec. times while not on NNT. Response was very slow - 30 to 60 seconds. I got the empty feeder "no tasks avail" message each time - no work yet, no tasks for over 24 hours. Server Status and Cricket still look funny, task page still a problem.
