Ah, yes, the issue of time zones and an establishment open 24/7

For some it is morning, for others noon, and still others it is evening or the dead of night.

But we can always get what we want or need whenever we stagger into Rocky's..

It works very well - If I fancy a coffee before work with you, as you prepare for bed, then its a good thing for both of us - have a good night

I could always have a coffee-flavored porter or stout for my pint.
A good day to you, Rob.

I would take a sip, so I can say I tried it. Quite sure, I won't like it.

I too would try it, for much the same reason.

But I'm not too sure I'd like it.

OK, who's done it?

Someone's gone and the turned the re-humidifier up to 11....

(This device is in certain areas so we con compensate for the incredibly low humidity certain groups enjoy - if we didn't have it to form a barrier zone we would have great problems in the rain forest and UK zones of the cafe...)

We aim to please in Rocky's Cafe :-)

Coffee Porter

Thanks, Chris. Good one.

I used to belong to two "Beer of the Month" clubs. Every month I got two boxes of twelve bottles. One club sent two 6-packs, one flavor each from two different regional or micro-brewries. The other sent four 3-packs - two flavors each from two different brewries. Kept the variety level up.

I've had the Goose Island, Left-Hand, and Joe Coffee stouts and porters.

Yes, a bit of coffee and chocolate taste in the beer. Almost like an after-dinner liquoer.

De gustibus, of course. YMMV

A sweet Guinness seems an oxymoron to me really, but beers like Murphys and formerly Gillespies are/were popular. There was also draught Mackeson in the mid 1960's but it never sold well.

A good slurp is the Special Mild that you sometimes see at Real Ale Festivals, mild it is not I can assure you, and is in the Guinness/Murphys genre for taste.

Ah nostalgia - Ena Sharples in the Corrie snug with Minnie and Martha, and milk stout!

More nostalgia.......
The flaming Guinness.
I remember it well.

I am sure I posted about it here before.

I went swimming today, after a busy day at work. It was quite relaxing and I enjoyed being in the water after such a long time. I succeeded in doing my 60 lenghts. Was rather proud of myself...

Yes, that is something to be proud of.
You are progressing a bit faster than I would have expected.
