Aah, Saturday evening. Which means it's time for beer. Huh, anybody know where the koalas have gone, they were here a minute ago.

Every 47.3 hours they vanish for 3.86 minutes.
I suspect Monday might know why, but it is a complete mystery to the rest of us.

That's quite specific, I wonder what they're up to... *strokes beard*

As I had stated earlier, koalas are like me in that a koala eats bushes and leaves. As a rule, about 4 minutes is what I average. Just sayin'....

Greetings Scarecrow, could you help me prop up this end of the bar? I think the builders cut a few corners :)

Nope, they drunk it all :)

Ouch - I've just fallen over a giant tortoise in the doorway. Where did that come from?

Hold on, wasn't there a sort of tortoise shaped lump at the far end of the bar?
The builders must have used it instead of the crates we had there last time...

I told 'em a couple of beer crates wouldn't do as a support, but they said don't worry we'll paint 'em a tasteful colour pink

Splendid! They'll match my earrings then!

The tortoise shaped lump was me. Oh hang on, I usually end up under the snooker table after a few. Er, I don't know who that is.

Well now that you mention it ....

After two train wreck marriages, I've found it more advantageous to just go out every couple of years, find a woman I hate, and buy her a house.

Today I went walking with the walking club. We did 12 km. It was a good exercise. We had no luck with the weather though. It rained all day and it was only 16°C. Tomorrow back to work after 3 weeks out. Looking forward to it, I must say.

12km, now what's that in real money....

7.5miles, about my normal twice a week trip to the shops. Not bad, enough to get the muscles and heart working without the risk of over doing it (unless you are carrying a weeks shopping, and go for a return walk inside 45 mins...)

Hope all goes well for you tomorrow. Just remember one way of getting rid of the office bore is to recant some horrid moment from your hospital stay in all its gory (exaggerated) detail x

That's true Rob. Although today wasn't boring. It was good to be back. My boss was also glad I was back.

Glad to hear you got through your first day back.

I just hope that your boss wasn't glad that you were back so he could dump a small mountain of work on your desk, which is what happened to me last time I was off sick for more than a couple of days.

I;ve found late nights don't do me any favours the next day ... tired. It looks like the walking, and driving done today is also catching up with me. OK this morningbut ...
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues
