If you put them in Brown window envelopes and seal them, then within a month the envelope would have crashed with a BSOD and the contents turned a putrid uneatable brown.

turned a putrid uneatable brown.

Is that because of the nitrogen in the flesh?

Sorry Uli sweetheart, I couldn't eat a snail to save my life. Almost, almost, worse than bananas ..... Can manage an oyster though ;-)

Ok then, next time we meet and both are on the menu......... I won't touch Oysters with a ten foot pole.

On another note.
I just harvested the Currants. Get your bowl now, because the chef is getting out the canning jars and bottles.

Oh yes the brown envelope. Problem was I forgot it had a window, and wondered why I got funny looks on the bus to your place.

BROWN ENVELOPES!!....who's getting brown envelopes?

All the tax payers over here...

I went to the doctor today to get the threads out, the wounds healed well he said and starting next week I can go back swimming.

60 lengths with all that scaffolding in!

Well now its out you should be a little more buoyant, due to less mass to drag around. So it should be no problems, once all the bits have go used to supporting themselves again.

It will take time to build up again, Julie. But it will come back. Good luck

I second that. Start out slow - 1 or 2 the first day, then build up.
My guess is 1-2 months to get back to 60 lengths.

Your guess might be right Donald. I'll see how it goes on tuesday. The doctor told me to be careful so I think I'll start off with 30 lenghts.

Just take it easy, bits will hurt if you do too many, or too quickly. And we don't want you having a set-back x

Do take the exercise gently, Julie, and work up.

I find when I do a job it hits next day, and today has been such a day.

Too eager and you may run ahead of capability.
