Seems to me that most Senior judges are more like political appointments for years previously served, rather than anything else. In which case it is political stupidity. Most JP's at Magistrates Court level are very savvy and with it, not so those at the other end of the system. And yet it is those up there that make landmark rulings that affect future cases for years ahead. Perhaps this outfit should tighten their selection procedures? Selections ID: 1246867 ·
