It would be nice if we knew exactly what part of the sky, not just coordinates. It could be in comparison to earth, and even show any actual images of that range of sky that have been taken, close up or far away.

Just turn your AM radio between stations. That's what it sounds like. The WU are 110 sec. (I think) segments of recording. The software manipulates this in various ways to analyze it.
