Can't seem to make out who the offender is here, who's what, where, why. The article just seems so long winded I struggled to comprehend the salient points. Is it me or is it because it's getting late, although one poster here has blamed the wrong party for creating this taxation idea. I say it's a poorly written article but I gather someone wants to tax the internet and it could be down to the Europeans for coming up with this idea....blagger me if you want to. It'll also reduce traffic on the main internet backbones; hence, speeding up response times for those of us who continue to use it. .......<grumble>......<mumble>..... #resist |

Has anyone figured out how they are going to tax spam yet? Set a right click option to report as spam. If x number of people report the same email as spam it must be spam. That way if goverments and politicians try to communicate with their citizens via email and enough report it as spam, the government taxs itself. |

Has anyone figured out how they are going to tax spam yet? Good luck with that..... It would be a bit of poetic justice however. "Learn from yesterday. Live for today. Hope for tomorrow." Albert Einstein "With cats." kittyman

Might as well get it over and make it a buck a click. You open the freaking door and you KNOW that's where it is going. Instant monetary censorship. "Learn from yesterday. Live for today. Hope for tomorrow." Albert Einstein "With cats." kittyman

On the other hand, there's a rich digital world to be taken advantage of in other ways. Sad, politics becoming more like big business every day. #resist |

And this tax would fund German Eurobonds, right? Really, this is the sort of US (and Euro) activity which feeds the 'American exceptionalism' vantage point big time. |
