hello im new to the whole bonic thing i used to do the seti project on my old computer back in the 90s anyway i have bionic running and all i get is seti project i have tryed to get other project like orbit @home and a few others my bonic says something i think communication deffered and i get no projects i was wondering am i doing something wrong or the site down or?ive tryed other projects and gotten the same after it trys to communicate with project i was just wondering any help would be greatly appreaciated please and thank you

You are the luckiest guy in the world. You've probably picked projects that haven't had work in a while or are just idle.

Orbits is idle. No work because no funding.

LHC has limited work.

You might check the websites of projects you want to join. check the server status page to see if any work is available

I haven't seen any work from the LHC project in a couple of years. CERN has a new project.

yes sorry i know it boinc i just added ther i out of habit but thank you that does answer my question i was wondering about it so what other projects would be good for me to work on other than seti i mean i thought orbit would have been good just cause its ok to be picky to be quite honest i noticed i wrote it wrong after i posted it sorry for that i just recently became disabled and have always had an interest with space and what is or might be out there thanks for the info on this ill check the server page thanks for your time and help

there is constellation@home, milkyway@home, einstein@home, and cosmology@home.

Be aware Cosmology requires a great deal of RAM and the WU's can run 16+ hours on a fast machine.

Milkyway is more of a GPU project than CPU though you can run the WU's on a cpu you'll get more bang for your buck on a good GPU. Your current Gpu won't run Milkyway

ok yeah ive gotten some errors on the milky way project how ever is is running projects for it however i will prob get errors or invalid data from this right so i should maybe cancel the project then like i said im new just trying to get a grip on what i can and cant do thank you for the other suggestions i will look into them thanks for your patience with me im sure i will have more questions sorry if some sound stupid but i was always told no such thing as a stupid question and even i disagree with that sometimes thanks for your timely replys most help full thank you
