When I go to my "All tasks for ..." page (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?userid=...), it doesn't show any workunits, although I am currently processing an Astropulse v505 WU and I finished a Seti@home WU just today. (Also, my BOINC Manager doesn't indicate, that the results of the completed Seti@home WU was uploaded. The WU just disappeared from my processing queue. How can I find out whether the results were really uploaded?) The page reads "Keine Aufgaben verfügbar" and "State: Alle (0) | In Bearbeitung (0) | Ausstehend (0) | Gültig (0) | Ungültig (0) | Fehler (0) Anwendung: All (0) | Astropulse v505 (0) | AstroPulse v6 (0) | SETI@home Enhanced (0) | SETI@home v7 (0)". There should be at least a "(1)" after "In Bearbeitung". So, what am I doing wrong? |

Are you sure you didn't accidentally create a second account? Is your computer attached one one account while the account you're posting with here is a separate account? |

Well, when I click on "Ihre Resultate" in my Boinc Manager, my internet browser opens the empty results page I mentioned. So, no, I don't think think there's a second account. |

Ok, the computer I see in your account appears to be a Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4GHz laptop running Windows Vista Business 32bit and an nVidia GeForce 9200M GS video card. Is that correct? |

Ok, when you open BOINC Manager and click on the Projects tab, what account does it say is attached to SETI@Home? |

It is attached to "1420MHz". The table in the projects tab looks like this: Projekt | Konto | Team | Arbeit erledigt | Durchschnit. Arbeit | ... climateprediciton.net | 1420MHz | | 0,00 | 0,00 | ... SETI@home | 1420MHz | | 0,00 | 0,00 | ... Synchronization with BOINCstatsBAM! semms to work, too. At least, there is no error message when I synchronize. |

Yes, this is strange (If you really recently (a day ago) have/had SETI@Home tasks in the computer 6434029 You say something very improbable (or you are very lucky?): "I am currently processing an Astropulse v505 WU and I finished a Seti@home WU just today" There are only 3 Astropulse v505 tasks 'in-the-wild' ("Results out in the field"): http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_status.html When (date) did you received those tasks? What date is shown in "Report deadline" column in BOINC Manager - Tasks tab? Probably they are/were too old ("timed out") and already "not usable"? ) Tasks 0 Number of times client has contacted server 19 Last contact 24 May 2012 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=6434029 In BOINC Manager -> Projects tab - select SETI@Home - click [Properties] button What is the Computer ID (is it 6434029) *** But this is probably your older account: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_user.php?userid=1904356 ... and your older computers: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/hosts_user.php?sort=rpc_time&rev=0&show_all=1&userid=1904356 Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |

Alright, maybe that's be the reason. The WU is already beyond its deadline (22 March 2012). Its name is ap_16dc11aa_B5_P0_00350_20120226_09587.wu. However, I can't see any "timed out" or "not usable" message in BOINC Manager. And shouldn't my results page indicate the work units I am currently processing regardless of what their deadline is? My computer ID is 6434029. Yes, 1904356 is my old account. (Is there a way I can transfer my old credits to the new account?) |

The WU is already beyond its deadline (22 March 2012). Its name is ap_16dc11aa_B5_P0_00350_20120226_09587.wu Abort it. You will not receive any credit for it. The result will be refused by "not usable" message in the "Event Log" (Ctrl+Shift+E) (sorry, I don't remember the exact wording of "result not usable", it may be "result unusable" or similar) It's no longer in your tasks list: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=6434029 This means the WU is already done OK by at least 2 other computers. ("Timed out - no response" is shown on the web (the example is Not from your computer): http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=6379672&offset=0&show_names=0&state=5&appid= Your expired task(s) certainly was in this state (maybe for months) but now is gone from the list (as is already done OK by at least 2 other computers, SETI does not need your result anymore and will refuse to accept it) ) Yes, 1904356 is my old account. (Is there a way I can transfer my old credits to the new account?) No. Only if you can log-in the old account you can attach your computer to it (and abandon the new account).
