I've been running Boinc for Einstein and Leiden Classical and now signed up for SETI-home. What do I have to do to get up and running? On the tv ad it showed someone looking at a screen of stars or dots but I don't have a screen like that. TIA

SETI@Home doesn't have TV spots. What you saw was an advertisement for the SETI Institute's SETI-Live which is not affiliated with SETI@Home.

SETI@Home uses your processor and a mathematical algorithm to locate signals of interest. The SETI Institute's SETI-Live wants to use your eyes watching a screen for signals. Check out Dr. Eric Korpela's post here for more information and links to SETI-Live.

Maybe we need screens and dots.
