Very nice. I first started around Apr/May, I also think at one point I lost that account's password.

Edit: Ah, not just that account's password, but email address, too. So I was never able to recover it. :-(

Still here and crunching....I've been through...let's see.....5 computers I believe. I'm still surprised when friends drop by and happen to notice BOINC manager on the screen and ask about the Project...I'd have thought every one I know would be aware of what I do with spare cycles by now.

Today is my 13th anniversary in participating in SETI@HOME. It all started by reading an article online.

Well, 13 years and two days.

And 119 posts.

Have been crunching non stop, though not exclusively Seti.

Was even crunching before Seti, but that was at distributed.net and even earlier projects.

Also a little folding has been done, but mostly on my PS3.

you know 13 years 13 posts, like Apollo 13 launching at 13:13. I figure one post for every year of service. But I do read a lot of the posts in here.

They record May 17th as the "official" public release of the original Seti@Home, but there are people that were on before that date. If you go to the classic site you can view the Registration Index for Active Users & find the "first ones". Then you can use something like the User By Date Stats from the stat sites to see which of them are still active.

The oldest & most active use I can find is Niteryder.

I'm still crunching although my farm had dwindled down to one full time cruncher. Still trying to do my part...
