In a previous post you said also have tried to delete reg keys as adviced in here http://boincfaq.mundayweb.com/index.php?language=1&view=490, which can account for why in the later post you didn't have the registry entries anymore. AFAIK BOINC Manager needs to start correctly at least once for most of those registry entries to be written. Apropos, there's no need to completely uninstall BOINC 6 before upgrading to BOINC 7. There is however the problem that once BOINC 7 has run for a bit, you can't return to BOINC 6, without problems, mostly attributed to lost work (all work you downloaded since installing BOINC 7, and that didn't finish/report yet will be erased upon a BOINC 6 start. Some projects, such as Seti, will resend the lost work when at a contact it's found that your work load differs from what the database thinks you had). |

Yep. But the problem is that Boinc 7.x doesn't launch on my computer. |
