Today is the start of my second week at home, and things are taking getting used to. Good progress in strengthening muscles, and now not using Sheila's stairlift - walking up and down myself (exercise). Now finished the 4 days of radiation treatment today on both upper arms, and now feeling tired. This is the main reason for not posting - inertia due to tiredness. I feel ATM I have dropped back a few days in the progress of progress improvement. I think posts will be intermittent for a few days until I catch up again - hopefully next week. Thanks for the good wishes and concert, and here's looking at you!! It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

Good to hear you managed to muster enough energy to get a posting out, John. All that treatment and therapy your undergoing is enough to sap all the energy out of an elephant. So hopefully we will hear from you again next week. Hi John, I don't think I have said hello yet. I really hope you get better, and I will be keeping you in my thoughts. Cancer sucks big time but unfortunately, the treatments can sometimes be just as sucky. *sends you a nice ball o healing energy |

Thanks all for the good wishes, especially Julie. Still tired, wanting to sleep most of the morning, but getting better in the afternoon. I need to get out and do some walking, but need to find a reason rather than sit watching TV. Well, it will come soon. It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

Have you ever heard of Essiac Tea, John? Rene Caisse was a Canadian Nurse who got a tea recipe from a Native American Medicine Man. It is worth reading up on and if you are interested, I can find the link to the place that sells it in bulk at around $30 a pound plus shipping, maybe less. (it's organic too) Doctors would send her their terminal patients, and she would treat them with this tea. according to what I read about it, she had 75% people go into remission with it, and the ones who didn't go into remission, their pain was reduced. The reason this tea is not more widely known about is Big Pharma. My dad had throat cancer, and his doctor actually suggested this in conjunction with his chemo because it eased pain so well. Shoot me a message in inbox if this is of interest to you, then I can hunt down the link. *tossing lots more healing energy to you! |

Thanks Julie, but concentrating on the chemo as well as trying to exercise and falling asleep does not leaves little time. Hopefully I can regain some strength over the next 4 weeks? It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |
