I try to use the sleepless time to count my blessings. I also use that time to plane what I will be doing when I am better and able to do more.

A pause in kidney function improvement on the lst few days, but he improvement is no continuing again.

All signed and approed for the Myeloma stem cell treatment trials, and the drugs ready tor first use tomorrow morning/lunchtime.

There is some talk of going home next week, after orthopaedic and social assessments.

I know - my bro' and i went through several of them last year with Mum...

It was however my bent thought train that thought John may not be considered "a social person"....

Only 40,000,000 tablets - they are letting you off lightly, or breaking you in gently ;-)

Did they give you a little green one, or a BIG red one by any chance?

Or were you just guzzling them down with the gentle, encouraging words "Only a few more to go Mr. Clark", while your brain is thinking "My god, where are they all going, and will they all fit?"

John, they are breaking you in gently.

Lori is trying hard to stay on course.
After a few months of this, she is ready to ditch it.
Incivek, antiferon, and ribaviron have got her very down..........more than I have ever seen her..
Be ready..........very ready, my friend.
It is going to test your mettle.

Pills for between 4 and 6 one month treatments, then, I hope, 6 to 8 weeks with the stem cell bit.

At least I can do most of it from home.

We will have to rename you as, "John-the rattle-Clark", I hope the pills don't
suppress your appetite, John; and put you off your favourite foods?...can't
be having that.

Don't worry about the weight loss, just keep taking the tablets and you'll soon be rattling back up to your fighting weight....
