Bad Boy Boogie.

AC/DC in a club not much bigger than their Marshall amps.

Look at the first few frames in the clip......
Place was SMALL.

Red Freakin' House.

No, not Hendricks.......just a wannabe.
But, he does awfully fine on his version.

Vocalist reminds me strongly of Big Jim Hite, of Canned Heat fame.

Very nice stuff.

Might be the best version ever recorded........
But, if I am not mistaken, they did not write the tune.
Who did?

Honky Tonk Women,,,,

Uhh, this is a VERY old cut.

Jagger has not had black hair for many years now/.
Richards ether,

Must be woodstock era footage.

And this is a better, laid back take than the studio version that came some time later.

Very well preserved.

Intergalatic

Intergalactic Planetary WHAT???!!!!!!!!!!!

"Intergalactic" and "planetary" are both adjectives. Adjectives are traditionally followed by nouns.

I have half a mind to write those Beastie Boys a strongly worded letter!

And I was mistaken.....according to Wiki, at least.

The song was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards while on holiday in Brazil from late December 1968 to early January 1969.

This show was purportedly recorded in '69.

This is his best, I suspect.

Nothing he did with the Dead compared.
He was just so inspired here.

You may argue.....I might disagree.

NRPS, Lonesome LA Cowboy.

But that cut was soo poorly engineered.
I could have done better on a flutaphone.
Some of the cuts were so obvious, ya might have thought they were making a joke there.
His voice goes high and low.....christ, you do have level locks on the mixing board, yes?

There are no dynamics......
The keyboard solo starts out way low and then 'tries' to ramp up, but with everything else maxxed, there is no room left to go.
His nifty rift at the get go just dies with the rest of the riff getting lost.

When he really tries to get into his stuff, it's all vocals and drum work.
If I had the masters to work with, I could make this a really hot cut.
He did the work, it was just not mixed correctly.

You should have had some real sound boyz in the room with ya, Cody.

I won't bother you again with the significance of this cut.
