According to some leading us congressmen 50% of americans are fascists. (again not my word but theirs.)

So for half of americans and mostly for eastern hemisphere he is right man at right time.

I watched that BBC Top gear show that 3 brits went to the american countryside that it was like some civilization delegation visiting some wild aboriginals, unbelievable. So for them OBama must be true devil.

I like the ideas he speaks about, unfortunately I have seen nothing but the "speak" part.

If he did the kinds of things he speaks of, I'd agree that he's a great president.


But great ideas mean nothing if one does not ACT on them.

Except when one cuts through all the quasi-mystical hype JFK didn't really accomplish anything. This requires not fantasizing about what he might have done if he had lived. The closest thing to an accomplishment was setting a national goal for NASA which was established by Eisenhower.

That said it is difficult to see how the two cannot be compared.

I am quite in favor of governments that don't go around changing things for the sake of changing them. Even fully implemented it does nothing specific to decrease the total cost of medical care no to improve its quality.
