new to the process how to start them aware now of nvidia problems

Something's amiss with your videocard driver, as BOINC hasn't detected your GPU.
Make sure to install the drivers from the GPU manufacturer, not those installed by Windows. These Windows drivers lack required components. Also install BOINC plain, as not a service or protected application execution. That will break BOINC's ability to detect GPUs due to Windows dividing drivers from services.
