There is a new thread suggested by Richard Haselgrove for inconclusive work units. Thank you. We are - most particularly - interested in checking whether the new AP v6 tasks are showing proper validation between stock and optimised apps. |

I don't know which thread to post this in, or if anyone is even looking for this anymore, but here you go: Thank you. We are - most particularly - interested in checking whether the new AP v6 tasks are showing proper validation between stock and optimised apps. Here's a list of optimized app v6 AP WUs that validated against stock V6 AP apps. __TASK_________WU_____Computer 2400174547 - 972282042 - 6011644 2399373128 - 971918307 - 5829212 2399245287 - 971860355 - 5829212 2399245286 - 954078529 - 5829212 2399240418 - 971858387 - 5829212 2399192807 - 971836264 - 5829212 2398100980 - 971335178 - 6011644 2392885930 - 968913612 - 6568834 2389492481 - 967359215 - 5829212 2381016725 - 963389045 - 5829212 One inconclusive: 2387615947 - 966484070 - 5829212 <edit> I can't imagine this being the right place to put this, but I don't see how the "Inconclusive WUs" thread hardly seems a good place to list validated WUs. Maybe I'm being OCD. <edit ends> |

No probs with uploads here. I noticed that no stats were generated yesterday. But thats a different story. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

No probs with uploads here. Hmm. Okay, the SSP shows it running now. When I looked before, it wasn't. i guess it was a momentary thing. Or maybe one of the guys woke up, checked the SSP, and remoted in to kick it. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Boincstats now has downloaded stats. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Boincstats now has downloaded stats. Okay, crisis over. I've turned off our pursuers. (A great big something goes to anyone who recognizes that line. Two somethings if you can name the actor/actress whose line it was.) David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Aaahhh!!! Panic!!! For some reason the Server Status Page sometimes shows the upload server as disabled though you can see in cricket it's running. Just a glitch. I'm not the Pope. I don't speak Ex Cathedra! |

Aaahhh!!! Panic!!! Then there are the times it shows as running, and on the graphs it appears it's running, but it's not & it takes a couple of tries for an upload or 2 to get through. Grant Darwin NT |

Nice little shortie storm. I have three pages of WUs before I come to my first active task, wich has 16 minutes to complete. john3760 |

Aack. My i7 is down to 286 tasks in progress for Seti. Maybe I need to adjust my cache and connection settings. What are good settings to use for an i7 with a GT 440 running Lunatics 0.40 under Boinc 6.10.60? If it matters, resource shares are Seti 100, Einstein 40, Orbit 60. Aack. My i7 is down to 286 tasks in progress for Seti. My cache is set for 4 days plus an additional 4 but I never get that far to hit the 1st with the current limits but as SETI is my main project (100%) my other 3 backup projects are set to 0% and mainly set to no new tasks unless I absolutely need work from them and then I tightly micro manage them. Cheers. |

You have been getting 1 task at a time for quite a while..... Maybe that's all Boinc is asking for. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

You have been getting 1 task at a time for quite a while..... I suppose that's possible. I just manually made it report 4 more finished tasks and it didn't request any more. However, I also get a lot of "no tasks available." I just suspended Orbit on that one. Maybe that will affect it. Something new: Backing off 1 min 0 sec on upload of ... I'm quite familiar with "backing off on download", but this is the first time "backing off on upload" happens to me! So, what happens? Connection problems getting worse and worse? Or is it a new feature? I will not panic! There is plenty of that from last time! Friday evening and I will soon leave for 1 beer (#2 and #3 are backing off). |

Something new: Backing off 1 min 0 sec on upload of ... Nothing new... It's just that upload problems seem to arise less frequently than download problems due to their small size. So you probably just never noticed it before. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |
