Boincstats now has downloaded stats.

Okay, crisis over. I've turned off our pursuers.

(A great big something goes to anyone who recognizes that line. Two somethings if you can name the actor/actress whose line it was.)

Aaahhh!!! Panic!!!

The upload server is not running!

Nobody has any credit for yesterday on Boincstats!

The sky is falling!

For some reason the Server Status Page sometimes shows the upload server as disabled though you can see in cricket it's running. Just a glitch.

Then there are the times it shows as running, and on the graphs it appears it's running, but it's not & it takes a couple of tries for an upload or 2 to get through.

Nice little shortie storm.
I have three pages of WUs before I come to my first active task,
wich has 16 minutes to complete.

Aack. My i7 is down to 286 tasks in progress for Seti.

Maybe I need to adjust my cache and connection settings. What are good settings to use for an i7 with a GT 440 running Lunatics 0.40 under Boinc 6.10.60?

If it matters, resource shares are Seti 100, Einstein 40, Orbit 60.

My cache is set for 4 days plus an additional 4 but I never get that far to hit the 1st with the current limits but as SETI is my main project (100%) my other 3 backup projects are set to 0% and mainly set to no new tasks unless I absolutely need work from them and then I tightly micro manage them.

Cheers.

You have been getting 1 task at a time for quite a while.....
Maybe that's all Boinc is asking for.

I suppose that's possible. I just manually made it report 4 more finished tasks and it didn't request any more.

However, I also get a lot of "no tasks available."

I just suspended Orbit on that one. Maybe that will affect it.

No, that won't be the cause. You'll have to look elsewhere.

Something's off.

Getting lots of 'good server, bad server and dead server' issues when trying to download tasks alongside lots of scheduler timeouts.

ETA sticking uploads as well.

Something new: Backing off 1 min 0 sec on upload of ...

I'm quite familiar with "backing off on download", but this is the first time "backing off on upload" happens to me!
So, what happens? Connection problems getting worse and worse? Or is it a new feature?

I will not panic! There is plenty of that from last time!
Friday evening and I will soon leave for 1 beer (#2 and #3 are backing off).

It's just that upload problems seem to arise less frequently than download problems due to their small size.
So you probably just never noticed it before.
