I know about getting attached to a computer for sentimental reasons.
That's the only reason I am still running my core2 duo. My first core2 processor, and the only non-quad in my farm.

Well, 64+ hours for a Beta 6.01 AP, run on stock app. Now I wait for a 6.01 AP on main, run with Opt AP6_win_x86_SSE_CPU_r555. It will be very interesting to see how much faster it is on the Celeron Super Duper CPU. Probably totally useless knowledge though, since I'm probably one of the few who is stupid enough to still crunch on a CeleronM, 1.50GHz.

As usual AP on main is not easy to get. I can wait though, I'm only 56 :-)

Well until recently I was running my Pentium M 1.5GHz notebook. Granted I overclocked the snot out of it. So it did have a RAC in the 550-650 range. I never did run AP work on it, but maybe I will do some more since the weather decided to turn cooler again for a while.


Heh, but your Pentium M is a speed demon compared to my Celeron:

Your Pentium M:

Measured floating point speed: 2000 million ops/sec
Measured integer speed: 4100 million ops/sec



My Celeron M:

Measured floating point speed: 1398.6 million ops/sec
Measured integer speed: 2802.82 million ops/sec

Those benchmark numbers are actually just from when I did the pin mod to go form 100MHz to the 133MHz bus. Taking the 1.5GHz to 2.0GHz.
I didn't update it again after ramping it up to 158MHz with setfsb. I'll have to remember to do that.

EDIT:
2374.5MHz with a 158.3MHz bus

Yeah but you might want to check on the speed step settings.

CPUID: Intel(R) Celeron(R) M processor 1.50GHz
Speed: 1 x 1094 MHz


Looks like it is clocking down on you, or maybe it was just a bit tired and was taking a break.
