Feel free to abort v7 workunits after the outage tomorrow. I'll try to get the app selection fixed tomorrow during the outage. Before then, if you unselect S@Hv7 and all the astropulse versions, but check allow other apps, you should get APv6 work. And before anybody gets overly excited, this partains to selection capabilities at BETA. I'm not the Pope. I don't speak Ex Cathedra! |

Just ran Astropulse and got no credit for it. Then I saw this post. So, should I suspend all the astropulse program until you get it together? Or what? |

How do you know that you got no credit? It's still pending! And please ask questions in the Questions & answers or Number crunching forum. Gruß, Gundolf |

Just ran Astropulse and got no credit for it. Then I saw this post. So, should I suspend all the astropulse program until you get it together? Or what? The possible zero credit problem resolved itself before March 17, and a fix was applied to BOINC so it won't happen again. As Gundolf said, when the other computer reports its result then credit may be granted. That other computer has not had any problems doing Astropulse v6 work, so it's highly probable that result will match yours and both will get credit at that time. Joe |

Why is it taking so long for this AstroPulse to download? |

We had network problems Thursday night and since then we've been flooded with connection attempts. I just altered some server parameters to prevent clients from holding on to a connection for too long in hope that will help some downloads complete. I was able to get my home downloads done after that. We've been pegged at our bandwidth limit since we fixed the problem on friday. @SETIEric@qoto.org (Mastodon) |
