There is a possible way out for you. First line rocks up along the edge of your space, and then put a few clumps of stones randomly inside of the outline of rocks that you set down. Good thing too, because rock gardens tend to wear out lawn mower blades rather quickly. |

There you go you now have a genuine Japanese rock garden, add different plants and oddly shaped stones as your heart desires. You don’t even need to mow the darn thing.

I have some in my yard. It is hard to kill with a selective herbicide but Roundup crabgrass will do the trick. |

black bin (trash bin) liner You'd be surprised out here and yes I know what a trash bag is. Devils Grass wiki wrote: It has a deep root system; in drought situations with penetrable soil, the root system can grow to over 2 m deep, though most of the root mass is less than 60 cm under the surface. The grass creeps along the ground and root wherever a node touches the ground, forming a dense mat. C. dactylon reproduces through seeds, through runners and rhizomes. Devils Grass is also known as: Cynodon dactylon, DÅ«rvÄ Grass, Bermuda Grass, Dubo, Dog's Tooth Grass, Bahama Grass, Devil's Grass, Couch Grass, Indian Doab, Arugampul, Grama, and Scutch Grass My Amazon Wishlist The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

black bin (trash bin) liner Meaning a black plastic sack that you line your trash bin with. Open up one of them and lay that down over a clump of them weeds. Weight it down and leave it for a week...no one's going to steel that from your garden. All I have are white plastic buckets, It'd likely walk away on its own out here, one way or another... I guess walk away on it's own, too slangy, someone would steal the bucket, in any case it's a shared root system. All I have are white plastic buckets, It'd likely walk away on its own out here, one way or another... Being white means it might still pass some light through it. Try opening up a black bin (trash bin) liner. Then lay that down over a clump and put some weights around the edges to keep it from blowing away. The exercise is to see if killing off their light source eventually kills of the weeds...it normally does. Vic, try an up-turned weighted-down bucket over the top of one of the clumps. All I have are white plastic buckets, It'd likely walk away on its own out here, one way or another... Devils grass is interconnected on the root level, wouldn't work and the roots extend far and wide... My Amazon Wishlist The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Vic, try an up-turned weighted-down bucket over the top of one of the clumps. Leave it for a week and then see if that clump of weeds has died off. Make sure it's a bucket that does not pass any light through it. Too big for Me, the mobile home is 14'x60', double that and add 9' on the ends or a 28'x69' plot for house and car, so the yard which is all around the house could be 14'x69' in size, that would kill Me and the grass would grow back and the park knows it too, that's why they just hit with a string trimmer or a weed wacker across the top... No, It gets quite windy here(gusts from the west as high as 75mph), the parks people won't do it unless their told to by the owner, the grass(weeds) is Devils Grass...
