Over 5,000,000 total according to BOINCstats. And this thread is fast approaching its 200-post milestone. This is 196. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Over 5,000,000 total according to BOINCstats. Greetings David, I re-spawn the thread at or just above 300 posts. I am currently unable to run BOINC; must use the Library for my Internet connection. If the thread reaches 300 before my RAC drops to 0.00, then I can re-spawn it. If not, then the thread will create its own milestone of having greater than 300 posts. ;) Then again, I believe that this thread is the longest running thread since BOINC began in 04, if memory serves correctly. That in itself would be a milestone. :) Thanks for keeping an eye on the post numbers for me. :) And congrats on you recent milestone! :) Keep on BOINCing...! :) CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? Over 5,000,000 total according to BOINCstats. Oh. I thought it was 200 like the Panic Mode thread. But now this IS post 200! I'm hitting milestones fairly frequently these days. It's just a matter of sniffing out different stats to brag about. ;) (But 5 million total Boinc is a major one.) From Boincstats this morning: BOINC combined World stats based on incremental update 16,938 Also, I'm not sure when it happened, but I broke 4 million Seti. In my "classes," I'm 6 at Seti (behind TruEQ & Tuvalu), but not likely to move up another spot anytime soon. At Einstein, I'm 22. No. 21 is doing more work than I am most days, but the next two aren't doing any, so both of us will move up. After many years at this, I just gave up with my ole 1 CPU pc that banged away for 4 years and picked up 3,300 points. Knocked down another 2 Million in the Last 24 days, well almost...when my computers at home here report at 2am I'll be well over. At 2,998,762 now. I have a Satalite Service with Bandwidth restrictions, except from 2am to 7am. I have a Goal to do 3 Million Next month. I'll have to put up one more machine and do some further tweeking of what I got...but I think I can pull it off. Most of my Big producers are now on Multi-GPU mother Boards. So it's just a matter of Cash for Cards. I'm #1 in RAC on the USA Team Seti@Home, and 80ish in Seti@Home overall. BTW still running that ole 1 processor at the shop, just Lunaticsed it after being off line most of the month....I'm gonna see if I can get 1000RAC out of that thing for under a hunderd bucks, $56 for a graphics card and $12 for a power supply upgrade to run the card. |

That did it, I just opened up the network to upload a few tasks....3,000,000. So the Goal is by 6/24/2012 to hit 6,000,000. |

good luck wawasoo...i spent about $60 on some GT430's for 3 of my C2D systems last month, u should consider those if that is your price point and u may not even need to upgrade your PSU (my PSU's on those systems are 300W i believe) |

I saw your posts on that topic and followed your lead, except I did the GT440 which you lamented. Here's the Box I put it in today. 7 day average right now is 991. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=6645215 It hasn't reported yet, it's at the shop and I keep those machines off line until quitting time 5PM EST. It's in an E4400, I think yours were E5500's. It's a base line anyway for what that extra $20 could have got you. BTW See you are looking into an Uber-Kruncher, thrilled Dude. Wawasoo |

The kitties have done now....... Get ready for this....... 225 Million kibbles for the Seti project. And damn proud of it. All on home computers, no business support. All electric bought and paid for from this kitty supporter's home. Some have done more with resources bought and paid for from their employers, or other resources. I have NOT. Every kibble was bought and paid for by ME. Another science project by the Kitty Network. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

The kitties have done now....... And you should be proud of it. Remarkable! I passed the 4M mark this week and I'm starting to ramp up after years of only crunching an hour a day. But I'll never catch sight of your dust trail..... Yanivicious: After joining Seti@home 2 months and 2 days ago, I just broke 1 Million credits. Thats quite an achievement. Congrats to you and to all the other posters. Another Fred Support SETI@home when you search the Web with GoodSearch or shop online with GoodShop. |
