I found an explanation to this problem: I read the label on the bottle for the Tia Maria (Aunt Mary). It is 20 % alcohol and my guess is that with this alcolholic percentage, the contents of this bottle should be regarded as being a vine. Because, when I will have a liquor, I prefer the white / blank see-through one type rather than the colored not-see through one. Like the White Curacao liquor (really). Label reads 36.5 % alcohol (bottle not opened up yet). I opened up the wrong bottle (after two small glasses)! But the Hennesy Very Special Cognac is 40 % in alchohol and is quite strong in its taste. It was not my intention of saying that Tia Maria (Aunt Mary) is a bad one for a supposed drink (meaning vine), rather it is the opposite. But like the Upper Ten Whiskey (which also is 40 % alchohol - I do not drink vodka anymore, anyway, regardless, because as being a drink, it rather should be a pleasure, at least in the start, though perhaps not the next day and not a pain), Cognac (as well as Vodka, together with Upper Ten Whiskey) should be assumed to be a drink (mixed or not), not a vine. Therefore, in comparison with the Tia Maria (Aunt Mary), the Upper Ten Whiskey, when mixed out with either water or preferably Club Soda, is still a drink and not some vine. Because of what I found out here, I still think I got it right on the thread title. |

On Christmas Eve, December 24, 2011, my six half a litre bottles of beer became to little for me of comfort in the late night. errr, this is the Number Crunching Forum - ie, performance etc. Wouldn't this post be better placed in the cafe?

On Christmas Eve, December 24, 2011, my six half a litre bottles of beer became to little for me of comfort in the late night. I had a bad day earlier one. My body was hurting me when I was asleep. Blame two glasses of cognac, perhaps. I ate "Christmas Eve" meat for dinner. It was frozen in the refrigerator and the potatoes became a little "lost" to me. I thought one glass or two of Tia Maria Liquor would rather help later on. But I had earlier opened up a Hennesy Very Special Cognac and was halfway down that bottle. Anyway, I returned back from the toilet the second time this evening. Be adviced, stick with the Hennessy cognac if you got it, the Tia Maria Liquour is NOT up to the match of this cognac! The Tia Maria is definitely a wine, albeit a quite strong one. It is a must at some instances, otherwise it is a "creep", like the Hennesy at least. You do not need to be an alchoholic or heavy drinker to adhere to this advice! Is "sober" the opposite of as being drunk? Why did I end up "sober" at 11:02 on December 25, 2011? Phew! |
